Maybe, maybe not, but this looks like an opportunity.
A problem with all forums like this, is information scattered through hundreds of threads and thousands of posts.
Much forum conversation is wasted with people asking questions
which have already been asked … and answered.
That process wastes precious Human Intelligence.
Far more efficient to have some Artificial Intelligence to fetch answers,
and aggregate them into relevant responses.
The AI program that I use – POE – has just announced a way to
create content, and to earn money for doing so.
In other words, to “monetize” a forum like this.
When I saw that announcement, earlier today, I thought that some people on this
forum would be interested in leveraging their knowledge and their experience here,
and turn that into some income.
I have no experience doing this.
But, I'd be eager to subscribe to an AI platform that covered this forum (and vAe in general).

Still and all, I think the beauty of cutting back on VA is that it is so simple.
People make it complicated, but it's not. Just decide to cut back, voila.
Everything else is just personalization.
Left and right people are talking about AI. Jesus, we must not be swayed by the artificiality of the world, but return to what makes us human. And there is a great reward in learning something for ourselves. AI will only make us dumber, despite all the claims that it will make us more efficient, smarter or even make money for us, which really sounds like the perpetuum mobile that doesn't exist. Digital learning is a hoax. Today's children can't concentrate as well as previous generations, don't have the reading comprehension of their parents and struggle with basic maths.

Current AI programmes are far better than humans in a number of ways - the speed at which they do things, and doing these things without error (once learned) is incredible.
However, they are not (yet) capable of abstract thinking, true problem solving, or true creativity (some would debate me on that).
A population who relies on AI, and turns off their own brain in the process, is doomed to failure.... veg out, consume, conform. We have already been doing this in droves since the invention of high speed internet. AI dependence will make things much worse.
No more problem solving. No more creative thinking. No more creativity.
Take this chat g p t that everyone is raving about. Incredibly efficient at writing out templates for my statistical computer codes (faster than any human could ever do), but easily caught in a logic loop.
I have been trying to learn how to spin yarn, and a spinning blogger had the AI come up with a post on spinning. That post had wrong info in it because the AI has no way to tell when it is grabbing wrong or right info. The AI doesn't know how to spin, just how to regurgitate info on a subject. Of course it was a pretty well written post (which is kind of amazing), but needed human expert eyes to make sure it wasn't just bunk.
No surprise there. Anything physical that requires experience, AI will never have a chance of getting better at, because it's a stick with a head. At the moment, AI is "just" sophisticated algorithms. Another facet to consider: We experience emotions because we have bodies. We are not just brains, but hearts and guts with nerve endings. We experience these emotions, and in order to communicate our bodily experience to others, we share it in language and other symbols. This makes me confident that AI will never write great literature, films, plays or create breathtaking paintings like John Sargent Singer.
It seems to me that you're really into AIs Larry. I have never tried them and I just thought that maybe I'll give it a try, but then I saw that they all require to sign up for an account or something and I don't want to do that.
I'm really interested to see what your AI says about this question, would you be willing to ask it Larry? My question for your AI is, "How to give an orgasm to a woman?".
Edit: just found a free AI and the answer was quite good. I think chances for orgasm would be quite good indeed. 5/5 👌

For searching this forum I recommend a site specific Google search. The downside of the forum search function is that it doesn't list specific page matches for a given search string, just threads.
