My way into this vitamin A thing was through migraines. I've been suffering from them for about 5 years and when I have them I lie in bed for at least 24 hours with, What feels like two knifes in my head and Throw up regularly.
One day after a 48- hour attack i decided it was not worth the suffering anymore and that I should start medicating.
that same day I got an e-mail from Matt Stones blog with a link to his article about vitamin a toxicity. So I decided to ditch medication and avoid vitamin a instead.
This was four months ago and since I have mostly eaten Rice, beef, oatmilk, honey, buckwheat. The last month I took away oatmilk and buckwheat and introduced bananas, Apples and Raisins.
Historically I would have about 1 migraine per month. Since going low vitamin A I have Had two in four months.
improvements, yes. But I just Had one yesterday and They are so awfull that I am again considering medication.
Does Anyone have any advice on naturally curing migraines, besides from going low vitamin a? Any natural substance to take once They hit (yesterday I ended up taking diclofenac which probably just hinders my efforts to detoxify the liver)
Any experience and advice out there would be so appreciated.

I've had occular migraines and the regular kind also but not as often as you. Soon after I started low vitamin A I had a migraine for a week and eventually upped my magnesium oil application and it went away. I had been using mag oil for along time but not everyday so not sure if I was still deficient or if it was a coincindence that the migraine went away when I applied more mag. I think most people tollerate and benefit from topical magnesium though I have read a few feel worse, maybe because of detox when they try it.
I tried some of the other common natural remedies like smelling peppermint oil but those didn't work for me.

Anna, I've not had migraines, but remember listening to an Andrew Fletcher YouTube a few months ago that addressed the subject. I'm still very pro low /zero Vitamin A. I have found that increasing body circulation through Inclined Bed Therapy is beneficial in my quest to detox Vitamin A.

I love inclined bed therapy too. I started it a couple weeks after I went low A and I can’t stand sleeping flat anymore!

Quote from DWL on June 2, 2019, 2:34 pmBella, I'm liking IBT too. Have been on Low/No Vit A for 10.5 months and IBT 2.5 months. IBT brought more detox symptoms and some health improvements. I can't imaging sleeping otherwise nowadays. Hats off to two brilliant engineers, Genereau and Fletcher!!

Quote from Rachel on June 3, 2019, 12:49 amI've never heard of Inclined Bed Therapy as a modality but I've been doing it for the past few years as a way of treating POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome). I do this alongside increased salt intake. I really didn't want to use medication and sought out other ways of managing the condition.

Quote from lil chick on June 3, 2019, 5:08 amHello, this is my first post. I get what I have sometimes called "abdominal migraines" or "poisonings" although I don't know if they really fit either name. They are almost always associated with my period, especially at the end of it. Horrible nausea, chills, runs and stuffed up nose...that last a few hours ...and the next day light sensitive and headachey.
The Inclined Bed Therapy idea sounds interesting because they almost always start soon after lying down.
Besides period changes, In the past I've thought that perhaps histamines and other amines were involved. However, that bit of knowledge was never much protection. Perhaps something in the body is released around that time?
Well, in my case they do seem to be getting less often as my period wanes with coming meno. My mother and my son and my grandmother also have suffered similar problems, unfortunately. Leading one to think there is a genetic component. The same people also have problems with motion.
