The Vitamin D recommendation is timely during the current world health crisis.  Thanks for the video!  Am still adhering to low Vitamin A (20 months).

All the best!

Rapid health improvements early on;  slow, vaguely discernable improvements  lately.

Thanks for the feedback! Have you had your serum retinol tested recently?

No, Tim, I’ve not had my serum retinol tested at all.
I feasted on high beta carotene foods for many years and consumed large amounts of beef and chicken  livers.  My main drink much of the time was hydraulically  pressed carrot juice.  I grew spinach, kale, and other greens and consistently grew bumper crops of delicious tomatoes.  I strived to be HEALTHY!!!  Geez.  I have no doubt that my retinol level remains in the upper range.  I added riboflavin supplements last summer, then after your B2 post began taking about 100mg.   4x)da. ;  I divided the dose to enhance  absorption).

Am considering  serum retinol testing at my two year mark.   Will post results along with any other pertinent info.

All the best,

dswl

Yeah VA is such a trap for health seekers. Do you feel that the high dose B2 supplement is helping? Whenever I take high dose B1 or B2 it makes me feel worse. I have designed a diet that is specifically high in B1 and B2 and don't take any supplemental B vitamins most of the time now and I feel healthier. I don't know if feeling worse is just the effect from taking high dose artificial Bs or if it is speeding up VA excretion but for me I find it better to avoid the supplements and just lower my VA slowly while having a nutritious diet to support me while that happens.

Tim, I have the same concerns about artificial supplements.

I went through an extremely difficult time this Jan.-Feb. with my elderly mom—emergency room visits, hospital stays, rehabs, then ultimately single handedly packed her residence  for moving.  I don’t remember ever going through a more stressful, exhausting time.   I was teetering on major collapse.  High dose B2 seemed to give marked improvement in both anxiety and fatigue.    Presently the only other vitamin I’m supplementing is D3.

I am the same as @tim-2

@dswl I have removed all supplements and just concentrating on foods now.  I think the B supps do probably help, but also do think they either speed things up to fast, over maybe slow things down as body overcompensates.  I seem to do just fine with food and slowly creep forward in healing.
