Looking Forward

This post is a quick update on my plans going forward.

I’ve finally retired from my day job and am now planning on getting much more involved in this project again. I’ll try to do a lot more to get the message out and help people better understand and navigate the low vA diet approach. With that, I’d also like to get and share more testimonials, new survey results and real world data, etc.

The Discussion Forum

The forum is not very active these days and therefore I don’t see much reason to keep it going. One other issue I have with the forum is that it requires a business subscription on WordPress with a cost of $360 CAD / year. After ten years of me picking up that cost on it I just can’t justify it anymore. I could also look into making a searchable read-only archive of the forum’s content available. However, if you feel the forum is worthwhile and want to keep it available then please consider making a contribution using the donate button below.

Other Research Interests

As I mentioned in one of my prior updates I’m very interested in investigating the claim of global warming causing the bleaching and destruction of coral reefs around the world. I think that claim is just a cover story for what’s really causing it. The experiments needed to investigate this hypothesis are rather simple, yet quite costly.  I’ll soon be reaching out to various potential funding sources to move forward with it.  If you love the oceans (every person on the planet should) and understand their importance to the health of the planet, then you should be very interested in this project as well.

Thank you for continuing to participate in this project.

Do you have any plans to release an updated version of “Poisoning for Profit” in print?

  2. Hi Grant. Is your donate facility intentionally written in US dollars? When I tried to donate, paypal blocked the payment and then put up a screen asking for my approval of a conversion rate from USD to CA dollars. Seeing as I will eventually be paying in GBP, there seems little point in converting currency twice. Alastair.

  3. Excited to see any further work on vitamin A toxicity. Your new project sounds very interesting as well. Is there going to be a different webpage where we can follow your continued work ?

  4. Further updates on research on coral bleaching?
Affiliate a blog on topic with this one? Or just have a subheading for the topic with this blog?

  5. When I was in Egypt and swimming in the water, the corals were all bleaching there. Me and this other girl doing diving at the time came out with a rash.

I’d say whatever caused that was some sort of bacteria or chemical reaction from dodgy water in the area spilling out.

Good luck with the project anyways!

    1. Hard to say really… it was in Sharm El Sheikh and they were building loads of new infrastructure there.

Could be building materials running off? Or somewhere further in land.
