I needed to disable self sign-ups because I’ve been getting too many spam-type accounts. Thanks.
9 months
Quote from thomas on August 7, 2019, 2:34 pmHi I thought i'd share how my progress looks nearly 9 months in.
puffy/red lips - gone (looked blue in some lighting!!)
pale skin - gone
excess collagen - gone (for the most part)
dandruff - occurs at times
hair shedding - almost normal. I had course hair as well, its thick again and back to its regular texture.
blood flow - great (i can see veins pop through my forearm again!!)
dry/bleeding knuckles - gone completely. Tends to get red with 10 mins of sunlight, never dries up or bleeds anymore though.
bloating - nearly normal
mood stability - excellent. Didn't expect any mental changes at first, but I feel like i'm myself again!! I felt like I lost who i was and my personality was gone for good. I didn't know who I was anymore and just copied small traits of other peoples personalities and put that together to make it my own, but I can finally be myself. I think it was some type of inflammation in the brain. I also stopped overthinking so much and that may have a lot to do with it
depression - much better
brain fog - pretty sure this is gone. I forgot 2 peoples names I used to talk to a lot and that killed me and probably them inside. If only i could explain without sounding psycho lol.
I don't know what the extra skin on the elbow is called... but that area used to be really dry during childhood. As I grew (17 now) i saw this start to vanish. I see it reappearing now during my detox.
Here is my food list right now. I've changed it up a lot but i've settled with this and find it helps me the most (keyword ME! You may feel bad with the foods I use, so I suggest you listen to your body when eating/trying a food).
Ground beef, black beans, white rice, high oleic cold pressed sunflower oil, apple (glucaric acid), salt, water
hope this motivates somebody 🙂 its a long but worthy journey
Edit: Forgot to mention i'm not sensitive to sun anymore either

Quote from Eio on August 7, 2019, 3:11 pmThat is great, Thomas. Your are lucky to find a solution to so many problems at your age.
I eat a few more low A fruits than you. I also am still using some light olive oil. But your food list is good. I am the cook so I try to have a bigger variety because my husband eats this way, too, but with a few additions since he never seemed to have obvious problems.
The best part must be your relaxed normal self mentally.
I think this diet really benefits the intestinal tract so I hope your bloating is gone for good.

thank you, and I feel very blessed to not only find a solution to my toxicity problem, but knowing the possible root cause of autoimmune issues
And I agree, I can't even begin to describe how happy I am to feel like myself again it feels like i've been reborn

Quote from who_am_i on August 12, 2019, 12:27 amCongratulations!
It's nice to see such a young person recover from his illnesses, very happy for you. You were either very lucky or very intelligent to embark on the right "diet" to begin with, unlike many here who lost years of their life trying out crazy diets like keto, ray peat, fruitarianism or whatever and getting sicker and sicker. Hope you will be a healthy person in your late teens and twenties which should be the best years of your life.

Quote from thomas on August 17, 2019, 3:15 am@who_am_i Thank you very much!!! 🙂
A lot of it had to do with luck. However it happened, i'm just glad it became this way. I would be willing to go through this temporary stage for a better future, and im sure many would prefer this same path.
