I cannot find white flour without niacin in the U.K., so may have to give it up for now

You might read up on Grant's post in the forum about his experience with niacin fortified bread flour.  He got around it in Canada by using a German bakery who got their flour from Germany where they do not fortify.  There are other ways to get past fortification as well.  Guessing others here will chime in with those methods (like buying whole grains and grinding them at home).  I am not the best source for that kind of insight.  I am still sticking with oatmeal and rice for grains.

Curious to see how you tame that dragon.

I’ve been trying to sieve wholemeal but it still comes out pretty brown.  I also find wheat very heavy when the gut is so inflamed from the vaccine, rice is much lighter and gentler.  Also, if I eat wheat or barley, I get night sweats, if I don’t eat them, I don’t.

I may try the Polish or Romanian shops to see if they import anything that hasn’t been fortified. I checked supermarkets to see if they import unfortified frozen bread to be reheated and sold in the U.K. but I couldn’t find any. The most ‘natural’ bread I could find is from a Jewish bakers, although under U.K. law, all white flour must be fortified. M&S uses palm oil in its bread, Sainsbury’s uses soya flour in its own baked goods.
