Activated charcoal and apple pectin.

Hi guys,

Is safe to used acivated charcoal and apple pectin daily? Thanks.

@pierre I would say activated charcoal should be taken only when you feel some digestive issues or some symptoms of herx/detox reaction like headache, gas, bloating and is perfect for diarrhea. Also why taking apple pectin? Pectin is basically in all foods like apples, legumes etc.. Beta glucan is much better type of soluble fiber. More liver friendly.. 

Thanks.Dr.Smith recomends this to drive out poisons out of the body.

@pierre The video I just posted tells the story of a woman who used charcoal to heal herself.

I have been taking charcoal every day for about a year or so now, and find it helpful.

At first I also took pectin, but it was quite expensive and Jiri is right about there being enough of it in foods.  😊

In the book about breast cancer by Grant Genereux, he mentions activated charcoal as a good intervention to bind toxic bile. He suggests taking one teaspoon daily before breakfast. For two weeks now I've been supplementing with it as Grant describes. It's definitely doing something, maybe I feel less achy during the day.

How have you found ACV to be helpful for you?

Yeah, I believe it @christian!

Basically, if I stop taking it, I notice my head is badly affected (pressure, inflammation, pain) and I feel generally “toxic” if that makes sense... With CFS, it’s common to feel “hungover” and exhausted upon waking in the morning, and this is greatly reduced, often comparatively absent, for me when I take the charcoal.

So if I forget to take it for a couple days, I quickly resume lol. 

Have been taking 1 teaspoon twice daily, about 12 hours apart, with psyllium. Based on the above video, I’ve just added a teaspoon of bentonite clay to the routine as well, so this is the combo:

1 teaspoon charcoal
1 teaspoon clay
2 teaspoons psyllium husk

We’ll see if anything changes after 2 weeks.

That's pretty cool that charcoal can lift you out of the fog. I will try to increase the dosage to two times too. Maybe it's necessary as in the video above described to empty the cells of toxic waste, not only the fluids. BTW, it's a remarkable story by this woman. Her hair looks so much better in the last picture. Impressive.

Do you happen to know in what way Zeolite and clay are different? I have a jar of Zeolite sitting at home.
