Activated charcoal and apple pectin.

Here’s a review on bentonite clay:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5632318/pdf/IJPH-46-1176.pdf
Sounds like bentonite clay is particularly effective against aflatoxins, and was more effective than activated charcoal against a poisonous plant ingested by livestock (random fun fact lol). It also has been shown to reduce heavy metal toxicity.
And here’s a review on zeolite:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6515299/pdf/molecules-24-01517.pdf
Oh interesting! Apparently it helps the body remove ammonia, which can be produced in excess by those eating a high-protein diet if their gut is fermenting it (putrefactive dysbiosis). Oh and the bit on the gut-brain-axis is interesting, too. Worth reading.
I agree, the woman’s story in the above video is really something. I’m glad she found relief. Makes me think of how many others must be suffering without hope while charcoal and clay are so abundant we give it to cattle.
Aw, man yeah it’s not fun. Taking the charcoal before bed, too, could potentially really help ya then though! I hope so, anyway. Not to say I don’t still have CFS symptoms—including brain fog—but the hit-by-a-truck severity of it all in the morning isn’t there (I feel roughly the same level of symptoms throughout the entire day).
Let me know how it goes, @christian! 🤞 And if you experiment with the zeolite?

Quote from MaryAnn on March 28, 2022, 12:01 pmHi Pierre,
I've been taking 2 capsules of activated charcoal once a day with my breakfast for the last 4 years. I'm also on a zero A diet. At breakfast I have some pork loin (for thiamine) and a banana, both of which have a little bit of vitamin A, but it gets absorbed by the charcoal and all is well! The activated charcoal also absorbs other fat soluble vitamins like D and K. So I try to eat celery root at lunch or dinner for vitamin K, I also have topical vitamin K oil. I use the Sperti vitamin D lamp in winter and try to get lots of sun in summer. Good luck to you on your journey to good health! 👍

I take them on an empty stomach, usually yeah.
It's a Redmond Clay, from this brand:

As far as I understand, Calcium Bentonite clay is also used for internal detox. They're basically both the same type of clay.
Hope it is helpful for you!

@puddleduckThanks for linking to the review papers. I'm just about to print them to go through them on paper. It looks as if both substances have their strengths and seem to have their place in assisting healing. That zeolite is able to reduce ammonia buildup sounds promising. I feel pretty achy at times, and I wouldn't be surprised if it is ammonia that's causing those symptoms. Anyway, I think it's best to try it, experience the stuff first hand.
I've started to take both zeolite and activated charcoal two times a day like you: 1 teaspoon of ACV and 5 g of zeolite, both in the morning and evening. I used to take solely ACV in the morning before breakfast. And yesterday night was the first time I combined the two before bedtime. I slept okay, not great, but not bad either. In the afternoon I felt pretty tired, relaxed. I wanted to take a nap. Let's see how this continues.
There is a zeolite thread on this forum. Someone mentioned watching out for low iron symptoms because zeolite absorbs it. Maybe it's a good idea to switch up zeolite with clay.

@christian Ah cool! I will have to read that thread. Thanks for the heads up about the potential iron absorption issue with zeolite. Would be tremendous if your achiness improves. Do you have a progress log on here?
