Yeah, I feel like a really old man at times. I would love it if I experienced more energy to enjoy life: go on hikes, have some hobbies. At the moment I feel as if I'm just barely getting by. Do you feel you can live the life you want?
It's been quite the journey so far, but I haven't detailed it in any log. Maybe worth considering? I'm imagining how I write a success report some day. 🙂 Here's the link to the zeolite thread: https://ggenereux.blog/discussion/topic/zeolite/

Quote from Beata on March 30, 2022, 4:35 am@christian, so what is happening with our energies? I am also struggling to have a consistent energy and there are days I feel defeated and everything seems like a struggle. Is this the vitamin A detox, low fat diet, the energy of the world that for 2 years now is chaotic and full of fear, 5G or little bit of everything…

Hi, i think i have what you call a " putrefactive dysbiosis", what is the best approach to fix this? There's any probiotic known to help with this condition? I heard Dr smith talking about that and it seems that my gut is fermenting anything that I eat, it doesn't matter if it is carbohydrate or protein. My symptoms are shortness of breath, abdominal distention, constipation and brain fog. I tried zeolite but it didn't help. I'm on a low vit A diet for 3 months now but i seem to be stuck in progress. I really think i'm not digesting well Anything at all. And speaking of ammonia, there's any other compound other than zeolite that helps with this? Thank you

Quote from Beata on March 30, 2022, 7:59 am@patrick-2, I hope you will not mind if I chime in.
I used to have terrible digestive issues and nothing ever worked for me. I took several different kinds of digestive enzymes, hydrochloric acid, ox bile, bitters, probiotics and many supplements but it was always downhill. Then I discovered Kerry Rivera’s protocol to clear digestive track of parasites and biofilms. This was a total life changer but it took me 18 months of sustained effort. It was not easy and I rarely recommend this protocol because of the level of involvement. But it was 100% effective. I think her book “Healing the symptoms of Autism” is available free for download online. In it the protocol is described in details.I am not sure if there is an easier way to clear the digestive track. I can only say that as hard as it was, it was worth it.
I had all the symptoms you mentioned. After the protocol my abdominal area became flat and it remained so to this day. I also lost several kilograms of weight and gained over a hundred pictures of a zoological inner garden. 🤨

A friend in Dr. Smith's network messaged me about this. There's some debate about how likely we are to absorb it:
Is It True? There's Lead In Bentonite Clay! - Growing Up Herbal
But some doctors/naturopaths say it is entirely too dangerous.
I'm desperate enough to ignore this potential issue for my 2-week trial with it, especially seeing how much it seems to help some people regardless, but it's something to be aware of and since I am the one who mentioned it I feel the need to warn there is a potential toxicity concern... We're trying to get LESS toxic, after all. ಥ_ಥ
@christian Yeah, I find it super helpful to refer back to my log to help me remember what I've tried and so forth and recognize that progress has been made even when it is slow. I do hope you do get to write a success story someday. 😊
Thanks for the link to the Zeolite thread. I've read it all now. If it's pulling out so much iron, you'd think it'd pull out lead too... Unless lead toxicity contributed to the anemia? That'd be bad news since they make an unfortunate couple:
Yeah, there are so many things I want to do, but just...can't. I mean, showering is too much physical activity lot of days so...Yeah. It does suck. Do you have CFS or POTS also?
@patrick-2 Hello and welcome here! I'm sorry you're experiencing so much discomfort so far... 🙁
I haven't experimented with probiotics on this detox, but Dr. Smith has information about the probiotics he recommends in his "Love Your Liver" course online here: Nutrition Detective
You might find it helpful to join, or even to work with him one-on-one. I have done both, and got some helpful guidance out of it for sure.
I'm not a doctor, so I don't know that much about the gut, really. I can only speak from my experience. I tend to do better eating a diet high in soluble fiber, but Dr. Smith would probably give you different advice that could be more helpful for you specifically.
Apparently farmers give charcoal to chickens to reduce the ammonia in their manure (lol):
Charcoal supplement reduces ammonia - Manure ManagerManure Manager
I do find charcoal helpful, but I tend towards constipation as well and find it super important to drink enough water with it and to have a ton of soluble fiber in the diet (psyllium, legumes, apples) to keep things moving.
I'm also planning to start Kombucha and Water Kefir and Raw Sauerkraut, which are fermented probiotic foods, but I have nothing to report on that yet. There is an interesting lecture about the importance of fiber and fermented foods here, though:
The Gut-Brain Axis: How does our microbiome affect detox and recovery?
I hope you find some answers, and continue to share what you experience here with us! 🙂
@beata-2 I am intrigued...Am going to download that book!

Defeat and struggle, two good words which describe my situation pretty accurately as well at times. Not always. There had been enough moments in the past when I felt the evil twins of engagement and joy. Good question why that is. To me, it's really hard to pinpoint exactly what's going on. The world has become increasingly more challenging to deal with, for sure. And left and right we have people who belittle 5G, the vaccines, even fundamentally doubt diet doesn't influence well-being and health in general. I remember a general physician saying this to me ten years ago. How foolish he was. And with the vaccines it's becoming ever more clear: They don't work, and they harm those who have received them in great numbers. We are here are at the forefront of personal health development, we will eventually prove all the naysayers wrong. Grant has already done so. And more people will follow suit. Until then, we have to painfully figure out the real mechanism behind good health. It's for sure going to be multifaceted.

Quote from Beata on March 30, 2022, 2:48 pm@christian, I often think about the topic of ‘good’ health and what it takes to achieve it. It is a complex topic with many components for sure.
Oftentimes we focus on a diet because it seems the easiest to control and manipulate, with the exclusion of all else.
Looking at the healthiest populations on Earth, it seems that physical labour in nature (farm / garden), sunshine, fresh air, good water, human connections and natural foods are indispensable. Maybe we are simply not made for ‘modern living’?I dare say that most of us are spending our time indoors, with electronic equipment all around, toxic water, polluted air, facebook friendships and loneliness. I doubt that a good diet is sufficient to fix the ills of modern life.
As far as vaccinations…the entire thing is laughable. How can injecting a ‘proprietary’ brew into a bloodstream create health?? But terrified people do not spend much time in deep thought and the last campaign of fear was an art form of propaganda and brainwash. I suspect that the fall out from this will be long and dramatic in terms of health - as if we didn’t have enough health issues already! But if we trust our health into the hands of people who profit from our disease - it is a small wonder that we are worse than ever before.

Quote from Hermes on March 31, 2022, 7:05 am@beata-2One thing that comes to mind, thinking about good health: Some people are blessed with robust health when they're born. It also matters what kind of family you're born with. I'm thinking about a middle-class family with solid finances, the father is an engineer, the mother a nurse. Their daughter is born with a healthy weight, she's been breastfed for two years, she gets both the love and care she needs to grow up as a healthy kid. She attends fine schools. She's not put on SSRIs and any other medication, is healthy as a horse. This is a life where one gets all the creature comfort needed, all the support needed. Compare this to the life of someone who grows up in a family that is financially struggling, who wasn't breastfed, who was underweight when the boy was born. The father was absent, the mother was constantly trying to make ends meet. As a teenager, he's been put on SSRIs. Without noticing, health starts to decline at a young age.Not only does it matter in what environment you grew up in, but generational stresses can also impact you, despite the fact you haven't experienced them directly. I've heard studies mention that hypothyroid and stressed mice gave birth to metabolically impaired mice for thirteen generations. In a nutshell, it matters in what health the grandparents were, it will indirectly influence you, either give you a good start or lay the shaky grounds for a life paved with problems.
And then there is a difference between body temperature, as discussed by Steve Richfield. He estimates a third of the population suffers from low body temperature, meaning below 37°Celsius, which is normal. Normal body temperature is like a protective shield that allows for more slights to happen without negatively impacting someone. That's my interpretation of it. I come to such a conclusion b/c I get the impression that the majority of people are doing pretty much okay, are at least functional in their lives.
Obviously, health is not equally fair distributed among the population. Some start out with much better health, to begin with, even better environments that allow them to thrive. And other people have a difficult start and play catch up throughout their entire lives. Maybe never reaching their full potential. And to make matters worse, you may not even be responsible for your blight because it's the forebears' health, you inherited.
And yes, other than that, our modern world is not particularly suitable for good health either. As you mention Beata, physical labor is a thing of the past, instead, most of us sit in front of a computer day in and day out. We hardly get enough sun exposure and fresh air (especially living in the city). The water supply has been compromised in many parts of the world by adding fluoride to it. And right now the idea of what's natural is being redefined: vegan food is being heavily pushed, meat is considered dirty food. We call progress what's deeply damaging us.
And I haven't even begun to talk about the lack of satisfying human connections. Facebook is a simulation of connectivity, the internet is. When I walk around, I see so many people staring at their mobile phones. It's as if we've lost interest in our built physical environment. And maybe even lost interest in other people?
It remains to be seen how devastating the vaccines will be. I agree with you that they certainly won't create health. Most people I know have been vaccinated and do just fine. I hope they continue to be not particularly affected by it. Anyway, it's really hard to gauge other people's health from afar. And most health problems don't come with a sudden surprise, they creep up on the individual. Very slowly.

Thanks for the many resources you provide and for reminding us that maybe Bentonite might be problematic because of the lead bound in it. Some say it doesn't matter because the negative charge of the clay will bind the heavy metals in the body but not release them. Maybe with this matter, it's better to listen to the many positive reviews rather than some people who are worried. It's generally good to be cautious, but it's also good to be courageous.
I've stopped the supplementation of zeolite for this day. Yesterday I was feeling so heavy and tired. I took 5 g zeolite the previous night and then again in the morning. I felt like napping in the middle of the afternoon, was cold too, and just not feeling really well. Yesterday evening I only took some ACV and this morning again, and I feel much better without the zeolite. Not sure why I was feeling this strong reaction to zeolite, especially at two doses, morning and evening. Detox? Bound heavy metals? I know I have a little too much cadmium in the body stored according to some recent tests.
I can't imagine how debilitating it must feel when you find it challenging to take a shower. So frustrating not being able to lead the life you imagine. How do you keep your good spirits intact? I think about this a lot, and I think it's important to have a good outlook in life to keep going. Whenever the thought "What's the use" creeps up, I get worried.
At times I think about my high school classmates and get jealous of what they all have achieved, my life seems bleak and unimpressive. I've found it important to also work on my values, shift them towards more self-realization and not outer life achievements.
I've had clinical depression in the past, I took on and off SSRIs for ten years, starting when I was a teenager. Depression and low energy have been there ever since then. I've never been diagnosed with CFS. I don't know what POTS is or stands for. I do feel really exhausted at times, have brain fog and it all looks like CFS to me. But then again, I don't want to dwell on labels too much; I want to think about solutions that bring me forward. Psychologists and doctors really like names, and what have they brought us? Not saying they're not helpful, it's just when things get complex and multifaceted, the patient himself is his best doctor.

Quote from Beata on March 31, 2022, 9:35 am@christian, you said it all and very eloquently too. It was sobering for me to realise that I was already present in the form of an ovum when my grandmother was carrying my mother. My grandmother’s health certainly had an impact on my mother’s and my health. I don’t doubt that health is generational. I believe that even in the good old Bible there was something about the sins of the fathers being passed on for seven generations. I take it in relation to health.
What I find discouraging is the fact that I feel unable to do more that what I am already doing to help myself. Most of us are tied up with jobs, mortgages, family ties etc. and leaving it all for the greener pastures is not feasible. So, am I sacrificing good health? Am I doomed because my ancestors were not robust?
I have to admit that I don’t like how I feel a lot of the time. (There are some great days too). I wonder if perhaps a change in focus and doing what I need to do while not thinking much about the weakness and aches and fatigue is the only option for now.
