Genetic expression differs between siblings, often one may have more susceptibility to Hypervitaminosis A than another sibling for example. Therefore when one sibling has malocclusion but another one doesn't it's not necessarily because the mother did something different or one sibling did anything different. Not saying that that's normally the case but just something we need to be aware of. Rather than solely looking for differences sometimes it just may be that one sibling had a better ability to thrive when there was an obstacle to health for both siblings.
NCR needs to be done by someone very experienced and trustworthy but it's not normally traumatic, painful or difficult.
