Just a quick testimonial about my thyroid labs since being on -------- some program ------------- for only 6 months. After being hypothyroid for almost 4 decades, the last 2 years my thyroid labs showed that I changed from being hypothyroid to hyperthyroid (labs attached), and yet no doctor could answer why this change happened or how to fix it.
Since my TSH showed me being hyperthyroid now, my Endocrinologist in 2023 suggested I have a nuclear scan of my thyroid done. At the time I told him I would think about it, but I knew I didn’t want it done. In 2024 when my Endocrinologist retested my TSH again during my annual exam and it still showed I was hyperthyroid, he again highly suggested I have the nuclear scan done. I said that I didn’t understand how I could be hyperthyroid as I did not have a single symptom of being hyperthyroid and that I was more concerned about having a radioactive substance injected in me. He continued to press the issue and told me what would happen to me if I didn’t treat the hyperthyroid. This was all a very stressful time! Once again, I told him I would think about it.
At that time I reached out to Dr. -------some guy------- in the office hours and was suggested to continue following -------some program-------- along with the supplements recommended. Boy am I glad I listened to your advise Dr. ------some guy----! After 6 months of being on ------some program-------, my thyroid labs are in the normal range (labs attached). My endocrinologist left a message for me that no nuclear scan is required at this time.
I am beyond thrilled and excited to have found the -------some program-------- program and look forward to reaping all its amazing benefits!

More and more I think we should be treating ourselves via symptoms and not via test results. And also that when anything is mysterious that there may be vitamin A going on.
There is an interesting book hypothyroid type 2 (Starr). And it talks about the parallels between diabetes type 2 and some cases of hypothyroid. In a nutshell, why are the CELLS not listening to the hormones? The hormones (like insulin or thyroid) are getting made, but the symptoms of diabetes or hypothyroid are apparent. The cells aren't responding.
The book talks a lot about how thyroid used to be treated by symptom and not by testing. There are loads of forums online about people unhappy with the "prescribe according to the test" model.
Perhaps the cells begin to respond better after some VA reduction.
