better sleep but now SVT

One of the biggest problems I have for decades is insomnia and it got worse as time went on, the past few years were very hard after taking vA and eating lots of carotenoids.   I've been doing low vA for 3 years now and the past couple of months I have been sleeping better and the sleep seems to be helping me feel better.  There had been nights in the past when I also seemed to get a full nights sleep but would still feel crappy the next day.   One thing that I have experienced that I never thought much of was that I would get a rapid heart beat from seemingly nothing.   It wouldn't last too long and it usually happened before bed so that when I got up, it was gone and I wouldn't give it a second thought.    However, last night before bed I accidently walked into one of my cats in the dark.   It startled me and sent my heart racing.   When I got up this morning it read about 170 on a pulse a meter so my family talked me into going to the ER.   I was diagnosed with SVT a type of tachycardia.   Anyone have any insights about this?   I am one of those people who think the root causes of disease are toxins.  Doc wants me to go on a beta blocker but I hate the idea of taking a pharmaceutical all the time and then some time in the future probably heart ablation where they scar the heart.  There has to be something better. Thinking too of adding in potassium chloride and starting topical magnesium again.   I only stopped because I haven't gotten round to making a new batch of mag-hol.    I eat a banana a day and good amount of black beans but I know some nutrients can easily be depleted by toxins.   Other things I eat everyday are oatmeal, beef and around a cup of low fat dairy with no added vA.   Thanks for any comments.

hi @prtcp

b12 injections (but not tablets) lowered my resting heart rate significantly and increased my exercise capacity a lot, might be worth a go

having thin blood from vitamin E/aspirin increases my resting heart rate a fair bit, but can also happen if you have anaemia/low red blood cell count

coconut oil also spikes my heart rate, presumably from intestinal irritation
