burning-hot poo, pee, sweat. discolored arm and leg pits.

OK I know it's gross but... occasionally I notice the title symptoms and I've seen them in other people's reports.  When I used to have food attacks the back porch area would get quite sore.  It's acid if I'm not mistaken.  (Retinoic Acid I suppose).  Occasionally getting sweaty can result in discomfort as well.  People in my family have brownish discoloration in their arm and leg pits (sweat zones).    I would guess that burning-hot pee leads to UTI sometimes (another thing I've struggled with, but not since going low VA).

As you might know, my cats are coming along for the low VA ride. They are on a carnivorous diet.  One I've been calling "toxic cat" because he has had so many symptoms similar to my own.  The other I've mentioned is a ginger cat and up to now the only odd thing about him is purple-ish stains near his eyes (which he has always had, and which rachel has suggested is from purple pigments).

So, yesterday, out of the blue, ginger cat (who is always so healthy) came down with diarrhea.  The poor guy was a mess.  As I was washing him down I noticed that his back porch was bright red.  I think he had a burning hot poo!

This makes me wonder, are burning hot poos/pee/sweat un-avoidable?  Is it a sign that something is missing in the diet?  Perhaps VA that isn't properly bound or etc?

I wonder if the discolored pits will clear over time.  This isn't me:Image result for discolored armpit stock image

If these darkened pit areas are VA, I wonder if we do ourselves a favor by trying to detox it.  Perhaps with a clay mask, exfoliation, charcoal, sunshine or something?

eta:  found a product:   armpit brightener!  😉

quote  "Produce silky soft, clean and even toned skin, clear bumps and discoloration. Overtime it visibly reduce discolored underarms – It will gradually fade away the darkened skin, offering a clean-healthy looking underarm. Light weight, non sticky formula is made out of soothing and silk soft Milk of Magnesia free from irritating baking soda."

from the questions about this product:  "The product is designed to help detox the armpit with food grade Bentonite clay and food grade diatomaceous earth which assist in magnetically drawing out toxins and heavy metals. Diatomaceous earth particles have a unique honeycomb structure. This honeycomb structure – similar to the one found in charcoal particles – attracts harmful heavy metals. Heavy metals are absorbed into the honeycomb structure through positive/negative attraction. Specifically, diatomaceous earth has a negative charge while heavy metals are positively charged. The diatomaceous earth attracts all of these particles, trapping them inside the honeycomb structure. The honeycomb structure prevents the particles from entering the body and passing out of your body naturally without being absorbed. I hope this helps."

I wonder if ginger cat is like some of the people here who take on the lower VA diet and have almost zero changes for a long time.

I also wonder if I need to start him on a bit of egg yolk, perhaps he is missing a nutrient.

My armpit discolouration has gone whilst being low VA. I make my own deoderant paste too. One recipe as DE as a  base.

@lil-chick the burning hot poop is one of my signature oxalate dumping symptoms. That and bladder irritation / interstitial cystitis.

You're essentially excreting shards of glass from what I understand. oxalic acid crystals are brutal. I discovered them back in 2018 when I accidentally cut all oxalates on the carnivore diet and started dumping like crazy.

Wouldn't surprise me if your cat was on kibble or anything commercial and you've switched to pure meat. It definitely can be delayed from switch to dump. I had a honeymoon phase before the horror show started. Poor cat hope he's okay now

My cats have passed, they were very old.  But I do remember that the so-called health food kibble that I fed them (before putting them on carnivore) had cranberry for "urinary health", and I'm betting cranberry has tons of oxalates.

As for myself, I occasionally still have a more toxic pee than usual.  Especially after alcohol.  Or anything that "stirs the pot".
