Carnivore Diet ( almost) 4 months blood test results
Quote from r on March 11, 2020, 2:20 pmI will post my blood results after following near carnivore diet for 4 month or more . The diet included
1 : White Rice 2 : Beef 400GM ( srilion 80% lean , 20% fat grass fed ), 500 GM chicken breast 3 : 7 EGG whites and 1 whole egg and a piece of whole grain bread 4 : salt, turmeric, garlic , water Most of my results are fine, but there is one element I am worried about i.e the total protein . Never ever it has gone above 7.5 or 7.5 but after beef consumption it has gone 8.18 . This gets me worried about future kidney damage ? ?Please do review my blood reports . my new symptom has been dry nose is that somehow related ?

I think the perceived risk that protein can damage the kidneys is a complete myth. That belief probably originates from the fact that protein starts leaking from the kidneys after they become damaged. But, in no way does that mean that the protein caused that damage.
I wonder if your elevated serum levels are mostly due to the large amount of albumin provided by 7 egg whites?
Also, I'm curious about how much rice were you including on this diet?
There's no way of knowing if your dry nose is related or not.

You should test your ferritin as well. If you don't have high iron...
