Carnivore thought

Is it possible many of the reasons carnivore works because it’s Low in A and E? Most that are successful longterm are mostly red meat only maybe a few eggs here and there so very low A And E? I  think vitamin A, E, and D may all be part of the issue for many. These all build up in the fat and liver and probably all contribute to slowing our detox. Maybe it’s possible this low vitamin A diet and carnivore work so well is because we are eliminating all these fat soluble toxins not just A.

I’m starting to think Vitamin D and E are very bad too. Studies on people taking vitamin E never has good outcomes unless it on just tocotrienols but whole foods with vitamin E have both tocotrienols and tocopherols so maybe t that’s a clue vitamin E is bad too and we are essentially getting a two for one with these diets by been low A and E. Thoughts??

I’ve really been wondering lately why red meat carnivores seem to do so well and what it has in common with low vitamin A and I was like they both are low in these fat soluble vitamins A E and D. Just seems possible all these fat soluble vitamins are way overdone. In nature getting the RDA of vitamin A,E, and D would all be virtually impossible yet these RDAs are set so high.

Good observation.  Vitamin D through sun on skin is vital.  Rat poison in supplements.

Growing group of carnivores taking fiber (mostly psyllium) and some charcoal on Love Your Liver network.  Dr Smith has said for years that the red meat eating group of clients are the easiest and most profoundly repaired in the LYL paradigm.  He said the accutane and or vegan clients are the most difficult.  It takes zinc and taurine and excellent protein to make all the required retinol binding protein and to rebuild all the damaged tissue.

Similar observations in almost all commenters on LYL posts about retinols and vitamin E.

Do you like the LYL group? I’ve considered joining it
