Christmas tree and color blindness

We just put up our Christmas tree. There is a garland of small multicolored led lights we have used before, red green and blue.
The previous years my husband could not see the red lights very well, they seemed much weaker and dull. Today he can see them very well, and they shine just as much as the other lights.
Two years on the diet. Thank you @ggenereux2014
