Cream or was it duck.

I have been fairly good sticking to the diet for 100 days and thought I'd try some cream in my coffee.  That might be the thing I miss the most.  Anyway after about 3 days of maybe a tablespoon of heavy cream in my coffee spread through out the day my heart started pounding, couldn't sleep through the night or take naps (I usually have to take a nap to make it through the day) and had a bad headache.   The night before my awful day I had some duck.  About the only animal products I eat are from beef except turkey around Thanksgiving.   Maybe it was the duck or the combo of having some cream and duck in the same day?

I would say the duck. All poultry and beef have lutein (a carotenoid) in their fat. Duck seems fattier than turkey and most fat is removed from beef.

The cream might have contributed a bit.

Thanks Guest and somuch4food for the feedback - maybe I'll try cream in a few days again to test it out.  It is a tradition for us to have duck around the first of the year so I don't forsee me wanting to try it again till next January.   I feel more normal today and slept better last night compared to yesterday and the night before.
