Quote from Даниил on January 11, 2026, 4:20 pmSo, my problems, as it turned out, are not that bad. I can clean snow for hours on end. I mean, problems with fatigue and standing on feet. And now I'm thinking about what my success has been related to lately.
Perhaps it's really because I don't eat more than RDA of vitamin A. Did vitamin A supplements ruin my health, which manifested itself earlier only six months after taking a megadose against acne? I don't know.
It looks like I've chosen my own diet. At least six months of a more or less normal life is already quite a lot for me, and this is despite the fact that I am taking serious psychiatric medications (which most likely causes some of my symptoms, which means it's not the food that's to blame).
I don't plan to eat more vitamin A, except in milk and in some carrots in soup.

Quote from Joe2 on January 12, 2026, 7:41 pmGood on you.
I started carrying a walking stick while I was still so damaged I could not walk without it. Never stopped. I carry it now. At least until someone stops me to talk. Standing past 10 seconds, I plant that thing and learn hard. Feels so good on the low back. Switch sides. Move it around. All good. Kids in neighborhood constantly wanting to keep it. Learned letting them play with it is bad idea. Meanwhile we are making their own walking sticks from other landscaping jobs. We see less risky behavior when it is their own stick.
Besides. Nice to hear smack talk from a 6 year old about how old I am leaning on my old man's cane. And then outrun them on a 40 yard dash carrying it. Note to self. Do not try to outrun them on a 20. It takes 20 yards just to catch up to the little maniacs. Light weight starts out fast.
And zero chance of me eating carrot soup again.
Good on you.

Quote from Даниил on February 5, 2026, 12:57 amRESULTS OF THE 8-MONTH DIET OFFICIAL MEDICINE (THE CENTENARIAN DIET)
I decided to make changes in my diet, so I decided to write here. So, in the last month, everything has been generally normal. I worked as a handyman. I still have an excessive libido. I also have relative fatigue, but it may have gone away in the last few days. Why is it relative? I think if I were an office worker, I wouldn't notice it, but since I would classify my job as hard physical labor, I notice it. Interestingly, I want to eat a lot after work, especially protein. I think people who work physically don't have enough protein in their diet, so they had to move away from the centenarian diet a little bit. I've had meat back in my diet for 2 weeks now. Why?
1) I think that based on the fact that we know the composition of food by only 3%, it is hardly possible to cover the need for all potential trace meat elements with dietary supplements.
2) Psychiatric drugs are being tested on meat eaters. Therefore, if you are a vegetarian, then no one guarantees that your psychiatric drugs will work and that they will not have side effects. And I still take them. So, no matter how I feel about killing animals, my health is more important (even from a religious point of view, harming oneself is a sin), so I have to eat meat.
I also noticed problems with my thinking (it was difficult to solve problems for a long time), but I did not check this after adding meat to the diet. I added vitamin C for fatigue and glycine to my list of supplements. In total, my list of supplements now looks like this: B vitamins, vitamin E (low dose), vitamin D, vitamin C, zinc (I don't eat beef because of the price), glycine, iodine, and medications from a psychiatrist. I don't have any bad reactions to food or supplements.
I also decided to shift my diet away from carbohydrates and towards fats (omega 9 and saturated fats), since my carbohydrate diet, I think, creates a large glycemic load (sometimes I could eat a loaf of whole grain bread in one meal). I've brought coffee back into my diet, but now it's shell-proof (I'm just kidding, by analogy with bulletproof) coffee with olive oil added. I also add olive oil to kefir. I want to become smarter, and brain consists of 60% fat. After all, the smarter you are, the better you will be able to build your healthy lifestyle, and the healthier you will be. So, being smart is important for your health. I also continue my religious practices, although I have relaxed a little in this, for which there are personal reasons.

Quote from Даниил on February 5, 2026, 1:16 amAs for vitamin A, I have been inclined to believe lately that it is a hormone and not a vitamin (as far as I understand, many doctors adhere to this view). So, since this is a hormone, then we need a jewelry dosage of vitamin A, that is, not a lot, but not a little either. That's maybe why the my diet with RDA of vA works for me.

Quote from Даниил on February 5, 2026, 6:37 amAs I understood from communicating with the neural network, vitamin A toxicity could really begin to manifest itself six months after taking a megadose (this is normal). In general, the neural network believes that my clinical picture, which looks simplistically like this: taking megadoses of vitamin A, then six months of normal life, then panic attacks, then tolerable well-being for a while, then psychosis and 10 months of impatience, then again a period of normal well-being, then a second psychosis and a month of headaches, generally fits The clinical picture includes vitamin A hypervitaminosis. It is more likely that in my case the symptoms were caused by an excess of vitamin A, rather than a deficiency, because my vitamin A reserves after taking megadose A should last for 3 years, and psychosis is more like hypervitaminosis A. And it's terrible that hypervitaminosis A can last so long and cause such a terrible swing of symptoms. But in any case, I no longer intend to go down to an ultra-low vitamin A level. It is also important to understand the role that PUFAs have played in this.
It is also important to note that I have found out that I have been diagnosed with schizophrenia since 2020. At the end of 2019, I took a megadose of vitamin A. My first psychosis occurred in mid-2022. I've been on a low-vitamin A diet since mid-2021. The doctors didn't tell me that I had schizophrenia before psychosis. Also, before schizophrenia and taking megadose A, I had OCD, which is often an early symptom of schizophrenia. So it is possible that there is no connection with vitamin A at all.
