David7 Progress Report

PreviousPage 2 of 2

Hi David, since you mentioned your zinc supplement, and that you also have some detox setback: when I started detoxing I also started having joint pains and kidney pain, and I also took about 25mg Zinc daily. When I stopped the Zinc supplement, detox symptoms became much better. 45mg is quite a lot, so maybe you should try reducing that.

I also had brain fog every morning after coffee, so I went without coffee for two weeks. I started drinking coffee again, since it didn't make a difference. Not saying you should drink it, but I didn't really notice a difference (but my health is quite good overall, so there's that).

Just my 2c...

Hope you'll see some quick progress.

I had no idea what the Marshall protocol was so I googled it. It seems pretty horrendous... and it seems most people get worse from it - not better! I cant believe how it could make anyone healthier to avoid sunlight like that. That means you cant go barefoot on the beach, swim and tan all your skin in the sun, and enjoy the best doctor of all.. Nature.

That Marshall protocol sounds like hell to me.

Well, you might be right - or wrong; no way to know for sure. And this is one of the problems I had with the MP - that they don't survey their members to ask that most important question in my view: "have your health problems resolved or improved since being on the MP?" To be a good scientist you not only need a good theory, but you constantly need to test that theory in reality to see if it actually works - this is where Marshall failed IMO. He has a beautiful theory, but he only surveyed his members once, early in the process and a long time ago - this is what it means to be a rationalist. Over the years most members dropped out and many, like me, failed to produce any lasting improvements in their health. The impetus for me to leave the MP was when I introduced Grant's vA toxicity theory to the MP. A few embraced it but Marshall himself showed no interest. I was stunned by his total lack of intellectual curiosity. Marshall suffers from obesity and I tried to get him to read Grant's post on obesity - again, no interest from him. For someone to claims to be interested in curing chronic illness and claims to be a man of science, to not have any interest in Grant's work to even read a blog post or look over the results Grant is producing, strikes me as being intellectually dishonest. So I no longer view Marshall as a good scientist nor a good man.

David
