Excessive ferritin and cheese
Quote from Beata on September 23, 2019, 3:42 amI came across this blog that particularly concerns me because of my high ferritin. At 194 ng/mL it is high according to one lab but within range according to another.
I wonder if anyone here managed to lower ferritin using vitamin A depleted diet?
Lactoferrin seems to work - according to the blog post. Dairy contains lactoferrin but is out because of the vitamin A content. This is a conundrum. As a woman no longer menstruating, I would like to have my iron stores well controlled without having to give blood.
