Sorry, can't say my have gone away as I have only started reducing VA, but agree they are annoying.
Mine have gotten worse over the last year. I lay out in the sun at noon every day for about 30 minutes and test them then haha!!

Quote from C B on October 18, 2019, 2:56 amNeilky, just to add, I read some of your previous posts, ( new here) I have been Keto for about a year, so wondering if that is why I have experienced a decline in my eyes and floaters?

I know for a fact keto damaged my eyes, I went keto twice! I put the eye decline down to age the first round of keto. Then I went back to carbs and my vision improved. I didn't join the dots till I went keto the second time. This time the I realised the profound effect it was having on my vision. I ditched Keto as my near sight got so bad I could hardly read. Why it was so much worse this time than last time I am pinning that on VitA saturation. The improvement in vision has been very slow this time round. Weirdly my vision is always worse in the morning and early afternoon. By evening its usually ok.
I have just started supplementing Thiamine as I have re read an article which indicates that ketones use Thiamine as a coenzyme. I had missed this before. Its worth trying.
As a side note, I noticed once I stopped Keto that colour became a bit washed out. So whilst my near vision was poor colour was strong.

Quote from Orion on October 18, 2019, 5:24 amClose to one year low VA, and still have floaters. I took extremely high doses of VA in all forms though.

Is it your near or far sight that has declined?
Just recently it has been near sight. One strange thing I have noticed this week, when out in the sun with my eyes closed I can now see colour!! I had only been able to see black, no matter how bright the sun was shining on my eye lids, weird I know but another change I am seeing only 3 weeks in of low VA

Quote from Jenny on July 31, 2020, 2:24 amJust wondering if anyone has any particular experience with eye floaters getting better or worse. Mine have got worse & are really bothering me now (could be I’m over focusing on them too). Could it be retinaldehyde build up? Eating too much lutein (I’ve realised lentils are high)? Could vitamin C help? Any experiences would be really interesting to hear. It could be the dry eye drops I’ve been using to combat ‘gritty’ eye has caused a problem - I’m suspicious of anything nowadays.

Quote from angelicarose on September 1, 2020, 10:03 amI had the gritty eye feeling and eye floaters. I read this can be a sign of vitamin B2 deficiency. I started supplementing thiamin (as allithiamine) and b2 (as riboflavin 5-phosphate) and the gritty feeling in eyes is completely gone, and I only occasionally have eye floaters now).
