Thank you so much @inger and @eio for the reminders and input. I only have 8 shifts left to work through the end of this month and then I have no plans for doing anything besides some writing from home. I’m so ready!

@bella, that is awesome! We women have such delicate bodies that is meant to take good care of or it is going to end in destruction 🙂

How crazy it is to have sick people working on delicate people at the hospital!    Even if they are wearing masks!

So glad you will be getting a break from the draining job of nursing in a hospital!

@lil-chick &@janelle525

Thank you! The whole situation was quite upsetting but the worst part was having to work so close to already vulnerable people. It just shows how little hospitals care about the patients and staff!!!

@inger, yes my goal is to work towards being anti-fragile and this trajectory has not been the best for reaching that goal.

Two months later and a lot has changed for the better. I’m working two six hour shifts per week currently at a health (sick) care facility where my husband is the administrator so that’s about as good as it gets if I have to work outside the home. 🙂 I don’t love it and I work hard but it’s definitely less stressful.
I’m recovered finally from whatever was going on which I think was a combination of the fallout from my prior work situation, some supplement experimenting that backfired and finding a better balance after transitioning off carnivore and making so many changes over the last year.
Anyway since I’m feeling like my health is at top level for me at this point I’ve decided to start my second micronutrient course on 5/25 that lasts for 30 days. During that time I’m going to try my best to eat at 100% of the DV of vA for 30 days and see how it goes. I did baseline blood work yesterday which I don’t have back yet and hopefully I’ll be able to repeat the labs on my pb&j budget after 30 days. All in all I’ve been low-moderate vA for close to seven years and since I’m not out to prove whether it’s an essential nutrient or a poison I figured I’d give it a go. I think someone like me who isn’t afraid to experiment and has nothing to gain or lose (besides potentially another failed diet change) makes me a good candidate to try this out. I’ll only be getting vA from unfortified and minimally processed foods-no supplements. I’ll try to be sure and report back with any negatives or positives.

Yes ma’am! Things actually could not be better. I’m 3 weeks into my experiment and don’t have anything negative to report. I’ll give a more detailed reply once I’m finished next week.
