@pano200 how are your eyes doing these days? I ask for selfish reasons, because I hope to follow your path of improvement, but also because I hope you are still doing good. Are you able to go for more than 8 hours without drops now?

doing well! i haven’t had to wear goggles or put any drops during my awake time for a little more than a month now. i still put on swim goggles at night (with holes cut in them so my eyes get oxygen)... these could probably go away in the next couple months, just hesitant to get rid of them just yet.

crazy improvement from when i had to put in drops every 15-20 minutes or wear goggles 24/7.

@pano200 that is so, so good to hear, I get teary-eyed, and I think you know why - it seems you have been at rock bottom as well, yet climbed your way back up the well of life, and now have light and joy again. So happy for you, and hope the next months to come bring you further relief and improvement <3

I’m sorry to ask yet another question, but I remember reading you also had/have meibomian gland dropout, do you have any opinion as to whether you have some gland regeneration? I suffer from this as well, so I’m very, very curious!

thank you for sharing, this was great news!

yeah finally climbed out of that hole. i did have meibomian gland dropout... i’ll probably go check out regeneration status once i’m no longer bound to any type of goggle.. so nothing to report yet!

happy new year 🙂
