Grant’s Dialysis
Quote from Rachel-2 in Colorado on June 25, 2021, 7:31 amAnother major difference in Grant’s experience could be his use of dialysis in his early days of VA detox.
has Grant mentioned/discussed timing of dialysis? Grant would you elaborate? Speculate? Share the story?

I wrote about my KCD in my blog post:

I declined dialysis treatment based on principle.
I'll have a basic KCD screening test redone this August.

Quote from lil chick on June 28, 2021, 7:59 amI recently heard a nurse say "put off dialysis as long as possible" and that would be my, LOL, first impression too... except for one thing: I suppose when your kidney is doing crappie you end up in a vicious cycle. You badly need detox but can't.
I guess I CAN see that if a person comes to this site, and knows their kidney is doing crappie, that person MIGHT think about some dialysis to get out of a vicious cycle. Not with a plan to stay on it forever, but perhaps as a temporary measure to cut into the vicious cycle and to buy time to live for a while on the Genereux diet.
Just thoughts here. Does dialysis have to be a forever thing? I'm just a lay person.

I agree. No one should "put off dialysis as long as possible". It could buy people valuable time needed to possibly reverse their kidney damage.
One of the main reasons I declined dialysis is because I was told that there was no long term hope with or without it. But, I now know that there is hope.
