Have there been any further animal studies

I noticed the part in "Poisoning For Profits" about a 20+ week gerbil test, how long did this go on for?  I'm guessing it was two of the same sex, but did they ever reproduce?

I would be interested in seeing more animal testing.

Further it seems like a fine needle aspiration liver sample would be less expensive for an animal vs a human.  I guess if its a lab animal, and not a pet dog, it could just be harvested :/

In humans, that test is also apparently less expensive than a liver biopsy, which is very similar.  In case anyone here wants to get stuck in the liver.

I find this all very provocative but after seeing so many animal studies in my googling, I'm just really curious to see it tested it over shorter life cycles.  So many animal studies focus on reproductive/developmental risks of Vit A deficiency.

Hi @stephen-2,

My gerbils lasted to 33 weeks.

I covered what happened to them in this video.

They were both males.

Another person has done a low vA diet with two mice, and his mice lasted for approx 52 weeks.

I think it was two females.
