health crises using up VA?

It's me lilchick!

My back went out at Christmas.  It hurt really bad for about 5 days.

Now that I'm recovered, I feel like I got rid of some VA?  I've heard other people here say their health "speedbump" got rid of some VA.

I can totally see VA being part of killing germs, but my problem wasn't about germs (that I know of...my suspicion is that I overdid lifting at a time when my electrolytes were off)

I'm assuming "killing germs" is why VA hangs out on the surface of things (causing trouble).  I suppose if any surface gets torn down and remade that some VA might be thrown in as part of the recipe?

Could VA be part of stress or pain response?   I see some internet writers saying that the adrenal glands needs VA to do their work combating stressors... but they seem a bit confused about VA in general so I can't even quote them.  But maybe there is something to that.

Could it even be something sneaky like pain relievers undoing VA?  What if that is why pain relievers work?

Have you had a crises that you felt used up a chunk of VA?

Could being healthy for a long time lead help lead to high VA?

Does this mean VA has other, real uses besides a small amount in the retina?

I slept on the question, and here is my bet:  Could it be that when the body has a crises it does a bit of housework, re-arranging, perhaps sending excess VA (mistakenly stored in that area) to the liver for proper storage (now that there is space there) or whatever.

Sort of like when you renovate a part of your house, maybe you end up sending some old, extra, or ugly furnishings to the attic or the second-hand store.
