@chris-4 Wow, what a sad story! It's creepy to look at those pictures in the NY Post. There's something very uncomfortable about them. Maybe it's because she's smiling while all the while her body looks totally starved, like she was just a released POW?!
But I have to admit, it hasn't been easy for me to figure out which foods are good and which are not. It takes a lot of awareness to find a healthy diet. And I've been fooled by a lot of diets. And honestly, I'm not even sure if a vitamin A detox diet works, at least for me. My belief in it is greater than the actual results I can show. So how am I different from a vegan who is truly convinced of his or her dietary choices? Well, if the motivation is actually to stay healthy and not for the well-being of animals.
