How long ago did they know? Vitamin A in Breaking Bad

Does anyone remember the popular TV series "Breaking Bad"?  In this clip, lawyer Saul Goodman is grumpy with his secretary for "doubling up his vitamin A, that stuff is bad for the liver".  https://youtu.be/RSBlYw-t_y4?t=164  That was years ago.  So this information must have been known in various circles.

Interesting.  The other day I went to buy local milk at a farm stand and even the whole milk said that it was supplemented with VA.

LOL.

Also, I noticed in the video clip that the pill falls out of his hand as he's moving his hand up to his mouth.

I had no doubt that they had known everything for a long time. I wonder how long ago Bill Gates went through a DETOX?

That has always been a concern with synthetic supplements, doesn't really prove anything. It's a concentrated form, there are warnings for all fat soluble vitamins and their effect on the liver. Guys are reaching here. I will give you that it is strange that they fortify milk when it already has vitamin A in it, that is fishy...it makes sense in skim milk or 2 percent where the fat has been removed, but not for whole milk. Specifically, with the vitamin A when it is beta carotene they give that warning(damage to the liver), bc you would not be able to eat those amounts in nature...does that make sense? Like to get to the amount in a pill you would have to eat like 50 carrots or something. This is why ppl who juice carrots can also damage their liver, they are putting in unnatural concentration of beta carotene in their body.

"vitamins".

My point was you're acting like that is a secret. Check this out, this is from the mayo clinic's website:

"Taking more than 10,000 mcg a day of oral vitamin A supplements long term can cause:

Bone thinning

Liver damage

Headache

Diarrhea

Nausea

Skin irritation

Pain in the joints and bone

Birth defects"

It's not a secret conspiracy. The milk thing is weird, I agree with that. They have to fortify by law and that is wrong.

In fact, it is surprising to me how Grant was the first to make this discovery(for so many years!), and why this information did not leak from above earlier. Even Ray, who seems to have some rumors, didn't know this.

I wonder, with the information that you have now, would you ever take vitamin A supplements? Accutane? Eat liver? Don't tell me you didn't do it.
