Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn's are caused by Vitamin A toxicity !

Curious what foods he dropped. How long has he gone. Sibling with similar history. Decades ago told to get colostomy. Moved to HK. In 70's now and still has colon. Eats a little different than before decades spent in Asia.

Karen Hurd explains this very well too. Working on stress levels can bring down the toxicity of the bile as well. And obviously if the gut is leaky the allergens will cause massive amounts of inflammation so cutting out the ones that do the most harm will lead to remission. But there are people who have not been cured going on elimination diets. Karen Hurd worked with Unique who was not cured by any diet or supp. She was so sick. But she had massive amounts of stress in her body. She needed to eat spoons of beans all day to heal.

Not sure what foods he cut but I don't think it was high Vit A ones. I think he hasn't had it for a couple of years now and is able to eat whatever he wants.
