Key ideas & Summary

Page 1 of 4Next

10 key ideas gathered from experience and science followed by a summary and an important breathing technique (of course this is my own conclusions and I have no monopoly on knowledge so take it as you "feel" it).

1. Hydroxylation is the key to detoxifying "A" and other fat-soluble toxins. Hydroxylation requires basically vitamin C and oxygen (many many other nutrients such as K2, lithium, etc. but these two are really the most important here).

2. 70% of detoxification happens through breathing. Most "modern" people don't know how to breathe correctly and thus become highly toxic as toxins are not expelled, blood is not purified, and organs become polluted (especially the liver who accumulates toxins up to the point when it is completely full and partially defective).

3. Human beings are mainly carnivorous. They don't need gut flora to digest meat especially raw but they do need it for plants (a baby can eat raw meat without problem but cannot eat a broccoli for example). People who have intact gut flora can eat almost anything. People with damaged guts due to antibiotics and other toxic substances cannot digest plants anymore and many of the plant compounds such as oxalates become highly toxic to the body because of the inability to handle them properly.

4. Salt water and blood plasma are extremely similar in composition. Real sea salt is extremely protective against parasitic infections of all sorts. The only period when human beings have been deprived of salt (Middle Ages), great epidemics and "incurable" diseases were extremely common. Put salt on any parasite and see what happens. A salty environment is not good for parasites. A sugary environment is what they love. Your body has to be very salty if you want to be protected. Some people have apparently cured chronic lyme with salt and vitamin C alone.

5. Some people (me included) handle vitamin A without any problem even when eaten over long periods of time and in high quantity while other cannot handle it. This means problems are not due necessarily from consumption but from the inability to use it and dispose it well. Again see point 1&2 to understand why this is so.

6. Various people cure autoimmune and other chronic disease with various means. The known ones which I have personally witnessed are: cold adaptation (Wim Hof methods), Buteyko breathing, Gerson protocol (extremely rich in carotenoids), and 100% animal diet (milk, eggs and meat including organs). Other means I have heard of but not witnessed myself are the milk cure, marathon running and very high doses of vitamin D over a quite long period. 100% fermented diet apparently works as well, probably by restoring completely the gut flora in some people. This means the "A" in itself cannot be alone to blame; the process is more general and involve infections (mold, mycobacteria, etc.), deficiencies (due to infections, "A", etc.), toxicities, etc.

7. EMFs and RF are highly toxic for some people while not so much for others. I have no proof but strong evidence that points to aluminum toxicity and zinc deficiency. Rats poisoned with aluminum were crazy under EMFs while rats "clean of aluminum" showed almost no change even when exposed to high radiation.

8. "Traditional tribes" living in various environments (arctic, desert, jungle, etc.) with various diets have virtually no chronic disease no matter whether the diet is rich in A or not and no matter whether the climate is cold or warm or dry or humid. This means respecting "Nature" gives Health while disrespecting Nature gives Disease. By "Nature" I mean day is day and night is night (sleep, don't stare at screens), cold is cold and hot is hot (it is not normal to have your room overheated in the middle of winter nor is it normal to have cold air in your room in the middle of summer, etc.). I mean, you get the point. Respect the "environment" as it is without trying all the time to modify it for comfort. Comfort looks nice but makes ill. Cold, for example, is very important in order that the blood vessels work correctly. Constriction and dilation of blood vessels is crucial for the whole organism to function well. So taking hot showers in winter is not only unnatural but basically bad for you. However, don't start very cold showers if your metabolism isn't ready. Do it gradually until you can do it comfortably. The gradual process is important in almost anything you try; we don't want to completely shock the body, just to adapt it to a higher level. Think sports. You can start by runing a full marathon; it is not good. You run more and more until you do the marathon quite comfortably. Basically Nature is good but our mind doesn't like it the way it is and tries to "cheat" in various ways in order to get comfort. This comfort has a cost: disease.

9. pH is the most important element in the body and is extremely tightly controlled by the organism. It will draw calcium from bones if necessary to maintain the status quo (and a lot of other minerals along the way such as lithium, potassium, sodium, and so on). A slight change of pH above the norm gives diseases of all sorts and even death quite rapidly. This is the "yin yang" of chinese medicine, too much yin or too much yang and the balance doesn't hold anymore and diseases is the result. Most "pH diets" are completely wrong for two reasons: 1. they don't take into account that retinoic acid and carotenoids lower pH and 2. they don't take in account breathing techniques. You can eat 100% meat and if you breathe very well you will be alkaline all the time. You can eat the most alkaline diet and if you don't breathe properly you will be acidic all the time. Have you ever seen a true yogi with chronic disease or crooked teeth or shrilled voice? I practice meditation and tibetan yogas for 20+ years and have met a few genuine lamas and gurus and can guarantee you that they have the most perfect health you can imagine. Same for traditional tribes who still live the traditional way of life (I have spend time with aborigines, eskimo, arctic and siberian, african tribes, etc).

10. People can live without food for quite long periods of time. Without water for a few days. Stop breathing and you will die quite rapidly. BREATHING PATTERNS CHANGE THE PH IN A MATTER OF SECONDS AND THE WHOLE AUTONOMIC NERVOUS SYSTEM IN A MATTER OF MINUTES. Recall also that 70% of your detoxification comes from breathing. Notice that humans in natural environments breathe perfectly well while I have met almost none in "modern" countries that breathes correctly. Often it is a shame how people and their children breathe.

TO SUM UP then: breathing is the most important element in health and all other things are pale in comparison. Wrong breathing leads to intoxication of blood and then organs, abnormal pH changes and leads to disease. Restoration of correct breathing patterns leads to purification of blood and organs and restoration of health. Hydroxylation, which requires oxygen and vitamin C to function properly, is absolutely necessary to detoxify the "A". Without hydroxylation functioning correctly the process of detoxifying the A and other toxins is very long and painful. Good hydroxylation is not possible without correct breathing.

To heal in an optimal way one thus need to:

1. Eat and live properly (meaning "naturally") (organic low A and low-plant foods, clean water, real salt, sound sleep, time outside, sun bathing, etc.)

2. Breathe properly (how? explained in some detail below)

3. Take small amounts of vitamin C through the day

PS: Some people should do a mineral hair analysis. I know at least someone who had simply a calcium deficiency and corrected his problems by eating a calcium-(very)rich diet without changing anything else.

BREATHING METHOD:

I will not go into detail here about Wim Hof, Buteyko, Yogic breathing, etc. as the subject is way too vast and sometimes dangerous to be done alone at home.

I will give however a very simple yet extremely profound exercise to energize the body very quickly and help tremendously in detoxification. If you do this exercise right, I promise you, your life will change in a matter of days.

FIRST RULE: ALWAYS BREATHE THROUGH THE NOSE, NEVER BY MOUTH! You can read many books about this so I will not go into detail but this is so important that I really believe it is maybe the single most important thing to remember here. NEVER BREATHE THROUGH THE MOUTH.

Now, here is the "yogic complete breath" which can dramatically upgrade your detoxification, blood purification, and healing, IF DONE CORRECTLY:

1. Sit straight yet very comfortably. Put hands in any way you wish but it is important that ribs are free and that basically the breathing is as easiest as possible (if you cannot sit, you can do this lying down).

2. Inhale very gently as if you want to draw air to the lowest end of the abdominal part (like you wished to inhale directly into the genitals!)

(to help you do this, focus your mind on the genitals then breathe, then move the mind where you wish to move the breath)

3. Now, slowly fill the rest of the abdomen from below to above until you arrive at the lungs.

4. Now fill the lungs completely until you cannot draw more air (PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL OF THIS SHOULD BE COMFORTABLE, DONT OVERDO IT AT FIRST!).

5. When the lungs are filled, draw a little more air as if you really wished to explode (like a ballon). You should now have air filled from the genitals all the way to the throat and still be comfortable.

6. Hold the air a few seconds WITHOUT MOVING.

7. Exhale the air VERY SLOWLY but VERY STRONGLY through the PINCHED mouth as if you wised to whistle. You should feel like a compression AND a liberation at the same time. More difficult to explain than to feel actually.

Repeat this process as many times as you wish but don't overdo it as it can be dangerous if your lungs are too "sleepy" from long unuse. Tapping GENTLY on the lungs while they are full "awakens" the dormant cells (do this very carefully and gently).

Start very slowly and "upgrade" the breathing as days go by until you can do this very comfortably. You will then understand how wrongly you breathed all the time by feeling so much better and so much more "energized". This should become very natural after a few weeks.

Now, just a detail about breathing and pH. Hypoventilation leads to pH acidification. Hyperventilation alkalizes the blood. Rhythmic breathing equalized both. However, please don't play with this as you really need someone skilled with you so you don't do it wrongly. Breathing is very powerful and it is not for "play".

If interested find a decent teacher. You can also play with breathing to activate sympathetic/parasympathetic side of the nervous system at will; also to lead both to equilibrium. I strongly encourage you to spend some time studying about breath. I have decided to write this after thoroughly testing a few breathing methods on various people.

I cannot overemphasize the fact that IT IS NOT IMPORTANT TO BREATHE A LOT BUT TO BREATHE WELL. INHALE AND EXHALE SLOWLY. YOU WANT MINIMAL AIR PER SECOND BUT MAXIMAL POWER. YOU FILL THE WHOLE BODY VERY SLOWLY AND POWERFULLY, THEN EXHALE VERY SLOWLY BUT POWERFULLY. FEEL IT!

(You need to "grasp" the thing by yourselves as it is very difficult to actually explain it if you don't do it yourself. You need to literally FEEL the air saturation throughout the body with an almost immediate increase in energy and well-being)

I hope this short "summary" helps at least a few of you and will be happy to receive feedbacks from those who try the method for at least a few days. But PLEASE try the breathing before commenting on it or launching big discussions. Try it then please give me your feedback. And, once again, go slowly, don't overdo it (think of it as a marathon, not a sprint).

Best Regards,

Dino

Important precision for those who are interested by the breathing. Inhalation is ALWAYS through the nose. EXHALATION is ALWAYS through the nose EXCEPT in the formal exercise where you exhale through pinched mouth (you still inhale through the nose). Best of luck.

Interesting theories. What's your take on baths?

I've started taking them more regularly. About 15 minutes in warm water with added baking soda. I notice better sleep and better satiation from eating when I do it almost everyday.

I will look further into breathing when my life settles down again. I find diet restrictions too stressful at times and want to find other means to cope.

I like your breathing idea. Carnivorism? Tried it. Didn't work. I am leaning towards we are starchivores or there are wide genetic differences. I have seen previous generations eat their fair share of starches and fruits and some sugar with seemingly no health consequences and long lives.

Somuch4food: I personally take cold baths but if your metabolism is not ready I would take "lukewarm" baths (at body temperature) with Epsom Salts which are good to both detoxify and relax.

Ronnie: Carnivorous diets need to be ketogenic as tribes throughout the world who eat that way are ketogenic. Eating only meat without at least 2/3 calories from fat is indeed dangerous. I have personally eaten that way for about 6 months and it was great. Of course genetics may play a role as my ancestors came from mongolian steppes and siberia and I have grown up in Balkans on an almost 100% animal diet.

Starches etc. are not bad in itself but we need specific bacteria to handle that while raw meat is digested in the stomach without bacteria needed. People with damaged guts can heal the gut by eating a carnivore ketogenic diet (friend of mine "cured" Crohn's with animal-only diet he has no more symptoms and added back many things now It took him a few months of animal-only diet with lots of fats, his diet was mainly ketogenic but he did enjoy raw milk as well; he basically just ate 0 plant - 0 fibers).

Yea man been there done that. Played with the fat intake and whatever else. Bad consequences for me. High fat diet just affected me so negatively. For every anecdotal success there is a counter example. Example Dr. Mcdougall who has plenty of anecdotes of low fat vegan diet healing all sort of diseases. And I am not sure about long term consequences of ketosis. Most carnivores on YouTube or reddit seem to be in it for life and any deviation in diet causes severe symptoms. For me this deprivation is completely futile especially having seen how normal people ate and got along fine for centuries. Could be genetic, I am middle eastern (Mediterranean) diet is rich in starches and plants (maybe 80% of the calories) along with some fish and lamb/beef. I was really sold on the carnivore diet but now I see it as another reframing of Atkins

Also, I wouldn't say there are a lot of tribes eating ketogenic. Amazonian and south Indian tribes eat starch and fruit heavy diets. As far as I know only few outliers ate a so called carnivore diet like the Eskimos and masai but they were not really in ketosis you can look this up. Eskimos for example had a protein diet which prevented ketosis. The Masai drank milk. I can't name any tribe that truly lived under ketosis, its just not something humans naturally seek or need. I just strongly disagree with this way of eating I see no proof at all that humans with their teeth or stomach are carnivorous. I dont think or stomach is anything like a cat or a dog.

Once again I believe breathing and environment to be much more important than diet and it depends heavily on gut flora type and probably genetics as well. However I did ayahuasca retreats and visited a few tribes in Amazonia and they eat fatty meat and it is not rare that they fast so they are quite often on fat burning mode. Some aborigines in Australie live exclusively on a ketogenic mode and thrive. Same in Niger and Congo. It is also true that some tribes eat a lot of starches but they have no antibiotics vaccines persticides etc. so their gut flora is intact which is not the case of many people in "modern" societies.

I really believe that if you breathe well, hydrate well and respect the environment you can cure anything and specific diets can help and can be necessary on short term but once the metabolism is restored it should not be a problem to eat almost anything as far as it is natural.

Also everone has a unique set of toxicities/deficiences but once again breathing is the key to remove toxicities purify blood and organs and allow the body to use the nutrients correctly. Breathing can change the pH drastically and hence the gut flora as well.

Everbody should find that for oneself.

Dino and Ronnie - fascinating discussion. Thanks for the breathing post, Dino. How long does it take for the technique to become something one is not thinking about? I manage an hour or so but with conscious effort. Applying it on my walk-abouts feels pretty good.

John: Quality and repetition is much more important than session duration. Do it very well for 10 minutes every single day and it should give you very good results quite quickly. How long depends on your actual physiology but if you it correctly improvements in breathing, posture and the whole physiology should be quite fast. The best time is probably early morning and late evening so try both and choose what goes best with you. Enjoy and relax!

Hope this helps.
