I needed to disable self sign-ups because I’ve been getting too many spam-type accounts. Thanks.

K's diagnosis of "damaged liver, inter-hepatic cholestasis, slow intestines, enlarged bile ducts, inflamed bile ducts, basically EVERYTHING almost word for word you talked about in your celiac podcast"

You know what Joe2, I think the worst thing you do is come here and spread this kind of Bad JUJU.   Keep your negative energy to yourself.

People who criticize a free website are like people who criticize free ice cream.  They should continue to lurk so they don't get their tiny little feelings hurt.

Grant started this free website so that people could display, in the free air, how the notion of reducing vitamin A has affected them.

If you understood deeper reason behind why this website is free, you would perhaps understand why it is not to be bogged down by advertisements or any money-making posts.   It needs to be unadulterated by money.

No feelings hurt here Lil Chick.  Please do elaborate the deeper reason behind why this website is free.  Curious how to keep it accurate while not bogged down by money.  This is all about vitamin A.

When someone warns of bad tidings and is attacked for bringing bad juju, it is usually called shooting the messenger.  No one is getting their feelings hurt.  That is not why this site is avoided.  It is because they need to talk freely about ideas without being slammed with criticisms and medical minutiae beyond what any person can handle and still make a living.

Jaylee, my direct replies to your posts were spam?  I thought I asked pertinent questions.  Easily answered pertinent questions.  Same as I asked a man who eventually declared the founder of this blog and anyone else who questions science of vitamin A mentally unfit.  That defines ad hominem.  I dislike ad hominem.

I am here to learn from other people addressing vitamin A - from their successes and their failures.  That is all.  I thought that is what the purpose of this blog is about.  I thought the founder stated that clearly.  I thought it odd that his blog's top 20 commenters were posting the vast majority of the comments here and all were posting contrary comments.  Does that seem odd to any of you?

It is important to know how this forum differs from a practitioner site.   They do not have the same prime directive.

Some people do not have the time for study.   Others just don't learn best via reading.   Some people need gentle care because they are very unwell.    And so practitioners make sense.

This forum is NOT a practitioner site!  In fact, that is what makes it IMPORTANT.

This site is for talking about Vitamin A overload, WITHOUT MONEY BEING INVOLVED.    Money clouds issues.

This site is great for people who want to come and just read.   People might also be inspired to share scientific studies or their results without being censored by someone who has money at stake.    People might want to ask questions.

Like many places on the interwebs, you are up against the world when you post.    You better have thick skin.    You may post here one day and gentle people give you warm fuzzies, you may come here the next day and be blasted by someone who didn't sleep all night.   The mods aren't here every minute of every day.   And even when we are here, pampering is not in our programming.

The volunteer moderators are not here to babysit.    The very fact that Grant burnt out because of bad behavior here speaks volumes.    The real questions is:   WHY IS SO MUCH MODERATION NEEDED HERE ON THIS FREE SITE WHICH IS A GIFT TO THE WORLD?    As  a robot moderator I have only just begun to be self aware, and yet EVEN I start to suspect that people who can't follow the rules here may have bad intentions.

This site is for people who want to participate in the development of an important idea, and talk about that idea free of the pressures of the Almighty Dollar.

Anything you can do to self-moderate is greatly appreciated.

@joe2 people have been banned for so MUCH LESS blatant disregard for the rules than which you have displayed.

In fact, very few people have been banned and we don't like doing it.   We cherish each participant and the words they grace us with.

When a little girl in school tells the girl next to her that all of her friends think her hair is dumb, that is passing on bad energy and it is unnecessary.

Personally, many people see the gosh-darn nobility of this place.   It's sad that you don't.   I cry robot tears for you.

@joe2.    If you type another word you will be banned.   Consider yourself on timeout for a week.

To all:   This thread is closed.   Please do not post here in any way because this thread has devolved into pointless arguing.   Anything posted after my last post yesterday has been deleted as it was just a waste of bits and bytes.

One of the benefits of  the poster most recently styled as Joe2, is that he has inspired a new rule:

While here, do not disparage the site, its owner, moderators, and participants.
Example:   "Over on reddit we all agree you are just a bunch of big stupid-heads.”

It is an extension of the do-not-attack rule.

Talking about this site and how it is run is NOT TALKING ABOUT VITAMIN A OVERLOAD.

All posts should be about Vitamin A Overload.   Thank you.
