Oh an all-natural mattress sounds like a worthy luxury! Will be interested in what direction you go there, when you start looking into it @lil-chick.

My winter coat is a thick boiled wool, which is lined with old synthetic rayon I’d like to take out and replace with something more natural and cosy... Not sure what though.

I suppose in the olden days they used silk for that!

Bras for those with rashes and skin problems and etc:

I have found an interesting company and I will try to have it added to the resources list.

https://ggenereux.blog/discussion/topic/resources/

I worked with someone over email, they gave me advice on the first order, which is always a bit puzzling, right?   It appears that first order becomes your baseline and they work with you from there.   They will modify that bra or work with you to develop just the right solution for you for your next order.   I guess I'd call it "almost custom", and it does take a bit of time to arrive.   It was maybe 3 weeks or so.

The white, organic cotton, no-latex bra I got from them seems very pure, a little tight, but usable.   I don't think I'm going to have them modify it, actually, but I might order slightly  larger next try and I might go for the "pad pockets" that are optional.

I don't think I will ever go back to being a bra person, but there just are times when I "need" one, like my daughter's wedding.   In general, I think bras are evil, hahaha.    Instead, I just wear layers.

Modern bras create a certain look that is hard to re-create without problematic components, I suppose it is form-follows-function situation.    Miracle-modern fabrics creating miracle-modern boobs, LOL.

I go back and forth between wearing a modern bra for those times when I have to, or trying to find a more pure option that isn't as satisfying in the resulting "look".   Cotton bras can be less comfy too, less "give"!   But at least they don't cause rash for me.   Your mileage may vary.

Hi all I wanted to update that I've kind of let go of the idea that I'm latex allergic.   (thank goodness because that would be so hard to truly avoid)

I think that my sweat is very itch-i-fying and that bras just absorb this bad stuff and hold it against me.    I would guess that my sweat has VA even at this late a date, but as you know I was very overloaded and not interested in zero VA.   Always been on the very slow boat here.

I do think  that dyes can bother me, and of course scents, and who knows what else, but after several washes of a new item it isn't a problem.
