If all you're eating is beef and some rice you might be "deficient" in polyunsaturated fat, which is a good state to be in because then your body produces a lot of the anti-inflammatory omega-9 mead acid. Eating any kind of nut except for macadamias would quickly kick you of of that """deficiency""" state, for me that results in much worsened brainfog and cognitive function. Just a thought. Although this is probably not the culprit if it only takes you 12 hours to fully recover.
