Menthol

I had an X-ray yesterday to see if I had pneumonia. Thankfully, I do not, but I have all the symptoms. The doctor gave me a list of medications and all but one of them was mostly menthol. Does anyone know if menthol contains vitamin A? I know mint has a lot and menthol comes from mint, but I can't find any info about how much V A it has.

I wonder if anyone has just said that clear extracts are mostly free of carotenes? I would guess that the (green) HERB would have carotenes, but the distilling process would take most of that out. But that is just a guess on my part.
