Muscle Calcification
Quote from leap7 on September 3, 2021, 11:49 amHas anyone been able to reverse muscle calcification? General medical wisdom is that once it happens it can't be reversed... But I'm hoping there is someone who has done it.

Quote from Luke on September 3, 2021, 12:38 pmDon't surrender to a reality defined by “experts” and the hubris of scientific reductionism. They are wrong about practically everything. I've read many testimonies of people reversing calcification, improving mobility, and reclaiming abundant health. I believe the first step in the journey to healing is to BELIEVE you have the capacity to reverse calcification & heal.
To reduce calcification, I would be wary of Vitamin D supplements, follow a meat based diet (that notably lacks oxalic acid that sequesters minerals and creates crystals in tissue), and exercise. Everybody is deficient in trace minerals and overloaded with calcium oxalate crystals in the tissues. To reverse the calcification, it seems that magnesium must be consumed in sufficient doses (bicarbonate is the best, chloride topically). Vitamin K2 (MK4 or ML7) is also widely deficient and extremely effective at reversing calcification. Plants are supposed to (and used to) secrete Fulvic Acid in order to bond to positively-charged metals and form organic carbon-based mineral structures. That does not seem to happen much anymore due to acid rain overpowering it. It seems Fulvic Acid is a potent dissolver of excess calcium in the body. It has a lot of positive commentary on reddit and the health sphere, although you may find it doesn't meet your burden of proof. I have a carnivore friend that healed his Ankylosing spondylitis through diet and supplementation alone (although I don't think he took Fulvic Acid).
A more opaque, potential solution could be percussive therapy (although I'm just speculating here). I'm honestly shocked by how little research and studies have been done on this despite the sheer number of people who have terrific results with a host of different things. Sound/vibratory technology will be the medicine of the future, IMO. When you put a device to your body that is emitting 2,400 beats/tissue impacts per minute, it send energy cascading through the body. For anyone who owns a Hypervolt or Theragun, often times the vibration of the body will escape your capacity to fully capture it with vision. Vibration of the cells...it is all very interesting, and you can look up some really intriguing information online. A favorite past time is to sun tan while using my device all over my body. I have one that will continue the 2,400 beats/minute under 60 pounds of pressure, so I dig in. Not exactly sure what all this is doing, but the mixture of sunshine + this activity makes me feel incredible. If I am experiencing allergies, I will strategically and carefully place my device on the spine so that I feel my head vibrating (somewhat uncomfortably but not too uncomfortable). In less than 5 minutes stuffy/runny nose is gone. Again, speculative considering there isn't much science into all this yet. IMO everyone should be doing percussive therapy/vibration/sound therapy, especially those with chronic health conditions. Intuitively, it would put other circulatory modalities like skin brushing, stretching, and environmental hormesis (hot/cold) to shame. Can you mechanically break an oxalate crystal through vibration? Or can you weaken fibrin which leads to fibrosis of tissue by using extreme vibratory pressures (oxygenation, cell metabolism)? I don't know, but I don't think science currently does either.

Quote from Ourania on September 4, 2021, 12:12 am@luke is entirely right and I think has covered all the aspects. It is possible. Keep in mind that this is a huge change in the body s structure even if it comes slowly. It is tiring and can be moderately painful. Vibration is a huge help because muscles are really made of very small individual fibers that get decalcified one by one. Vibration frees here and there. My husband has successfully done it. It took a long time but he can put his toes in his ears now!

Quote from leap7 on September 4, 2021, 4:33 am@luke Thank you so much, you've given me hope and a lot to look into. I definitely don't want to surrender to a reality defined by so-called medical 'experts'. I have supplemented magnesium and think it has helped - I would sometimes get muscle twitching and subsequent relaxation of muscles, but the effect is not at all consistent. I also have some K2 that I can start using more regularly. I'm a bit torn on a proper dietary intervention - like low A, or no?
I am glad you have come to this forum and I look forward to your findings.
@ourania Thank you. I'm curious, how do you know your husband had muscle calcification vs tight muscles?

Quote from Ourania on September 4, 2021, 4:48 amIt was diagnosed 32 years ago when he was 25, together with double inversion of the spine. He could not touch his knees. After many years and many improvements now there is no trace of these problems. He had a leg shorter than the other by more than an inch. Gone too. Most of the improvements happened in the last years, after he turned 50. Keep vibrating!

Quote from lil chick on September 4, 2021, 6:58 amOh so that's what I have, LOL.
When I put sound and movement together, a thought that came to me is dance. So traditional in so many societies. My long-lived grandfather was a dancer, and met two of his wives dancing, LOL.
