Still, how many every-day people try low vA?
One difference I noted from most of the people on these blogs - Grant started with a zero supplement background. In fact he probably had a zero dietary intervention background. Just about everyone here, came from a heavy supplement heavy dietary intervention background. Doing zero supplements is probably the single most difficult thing you can ask of the people who come to these blogs.
Granted.

I agree. Supplements really do people in. And are hard to convince people they aren't necessary.

Have seen literature from studies. Autopsies of x number of people turn up with 33% to 50% liver biopsies with hypervitaminosis A. If as suspected vA plays a role in a variety of ways in disease and it plays a role in far more chronic disease than previously thought, then it is far more common than supposed.
That might sound like a lot of if's. I am sure people felt the same way about the importance of sewer systems and clean wells until they found out how many other diseases than just cholera go away with good plumbing.
Grant noted how certain disease rates dropped in Canuckistan when the East coast fisheries were shut down and fish intake dropped in one of his books.
