Official medicine vs low vA vs Ray Peat

I myself am currently following a diet based on official medicine. Since not everyone writes about their experience of diets based on official medicine, I decided to make this topic. Here I would like to ask you what your experience has been with a diet based on official medicine (whole grain bread, omega 3/omega 6 balance, without sugar, etc). Write briefly: how much did you stick to, what was the result (what symptoms passed/which ones appeared). And I would like to compare this with a low vitamin A diet. Also, please write how long you have been following the diet and what symptoms you have experienced. I am also interested in whether anyone has followed the Ray Peat diet (a lot dairy, a lot of sugar, liver, raw carrot, without PUFA, etc) and what the results have been. I will start with my own experience. Although I understand that this is somewhat biased, as I understand this is a forum of people who have not been helped by official medicine.

I followed the Ray Peat diet for 9 months. I have experienced brain fog. I followed a low vitamin A diet for a year. The brain fog has passed, but I've developed psychosis, followed by a state of impatience that hasn't been alleviated by the low-vA diet, so I've given it up. Currently, I'm following a 6-month diet based on official medicine. My fatigue, hair loss, and dandruff have subsided.

I hope that many people will write about their experiences here.

For a long time (as a wapf'er) I made spelt sourdough bread and everyone loved it and I think it was a beneficial part of our diet then.    (It wasn't completely whole, it did have some white to lift it, like 20% white).   It tasted awesome.   I've been pretty low sugar and have used butter and animal fat as my main fats, through those times and these.   A very long time, like 20 years or more.    I've never been perfect at avoiding junk fats, but it's been on my radar.   I actually vomit from eating fried foods such as French fries.    I haven't had restaurant fried food for over 20 years or so.   Neither have I had any soda and even as a child sometimes soda would make me vomit.     Of course, as a wapf'er, I was overdoing VA in a ridiculous manner, so I'm not a very good example for you.    And as a wapf'er all my problems steadily got worse.   When I stopped wapf'ing I also stopped making spelt sourdough.

All my time here, up to recently, has been very low soluble fiber, and that is something I'm trying to fix and has maybe slowed down my progress.

I never tried Peat, I knew of him, but I couldn't get a good grip on why I'd drink a bunch of OJ haha.    I dropped juice as a wapf'er and low-sugar type person.  I did love OJ as a kid though and drank a lot of it.   Say, all the kids came in from sports and had cokes, I'd have OJ (because soda didn't agree).    Another note about my childhood is that I began vegetable gardening at age 9, and so I possibly ate more veggies than most kids, as I was pretty proud of my wares.
