Olive oil and Turmeric

Hi

I hope everyone is doing well and having a swift recovery .

its been about 4-5 months on a low vitamin A diet for me , I still have mild symptoms , I was wondering if consuming oilive oil and turmeric has anything to do with hampering with detox process .

My diet :

Egg-whites
White-brown bread
beef/chicken/lamb
olive oil/ salt / turmeric
white/brown rice
apple(peeled) , banana
occasionally , I eat chocolate , and oat meal as a cheat meal

Medication : Zinc , Vitamin D3 and Vit-C (sometimes )
Thanks

Turmeric can raise thiol levels - problematic if someone is mercury toxic.

Perhaps all orange-colored things are colored that way as a warning?  Now, I'll give you that some cultures really eat tons of this spice.  But not the one I spring from.  Much hotter and sunnier climes!

If you're not getting better, maybe try eating just rice and beef for 3-4 weeks, then introduce other foods one at a time. And see if you feel different in the next few days, per food item. I personally don't think cheat meals are a good idea.

The brown bread probably has lutein and zeaxanthin. Chicken and lamb can be a problem for some, probably lamb especially. Olive oil has carotenoids, that's what gives it color so it's better to use lighter olive oils or use another oil, those fruits also have some carotenoids so depending on your sensitivity they may or may not be a problem.
