I suppose this isn't any news, but I guess it reinforces Garrett's theory that ancient tribes prized liver not because (or not just because) it was a nutrient powerhouse, but it was also the easiest part of the animal to eat. If that weren't the case, why would cases like this one consciously keep eating in a way that makes them sick?

The trouble with A is not just toxicity(continuously throwing of A over microbiome by the lazy immune system with a persistent collateral damage) .. for example some chronic pathogens (EBV/CMV) developed the way of spreading through our cells by using retinol to aid them:

When I think about that Paleo woman, I wonder to myself just how long would it take to fix those bones of hers? (which I'm sure was not her only symptom).
