Plant based dieters?

Most people doing low VA are including some kind of animal products in their diet because there seems to be a consensus in our small circle that protein, zinc and taurine are needed for detoxification.

I wonder though if anybody here is pursuing a vegan road (by accident or not) and how they are doing and what they are eating?

Hi
I tried the "all vegetarian" diet for about 1 whole year while on toxicity , but I suffered tremendously , I suspect due to mineral depletion . While being on a plant based diet , I was diagnosed with Ulcerative colitis . Again , I suspect because I ate only black beans and rice for a long time . Since then I have started eating meat ( rice and bread / cauliflower ) and I feel well  and symptoms are starting to dissipate . Plant based diet didn't alleviate the symptoms and I made no progress in recovery

From a personal experience , I wouldn't recommend anyone to be on a plant based diet while on toxicity .

Zinc , protein for sure helped me a lot

What are the traditions in your family lines?  Maybe there are some clues there to how to formulate your ideal diet.  I've decided my 4 food groups are bread, bacon, beer and onions, LOL.

I ate a largely dairy based vegetarian diet for many years & hadn’t touched red meat for 30 years until recently. I suspect this diet choice was one of the factors that put me into this vitamin A toxicity mess as high in VA & BC but low in protein, taurine & zinc. There are several other factors of course but diet choice is up there with the ‘big rocks’ for me I think.
