Poll: Have Grant Genereux saved your life? (Yes/No)

Have Grant Genereux saved your life?
Yes
No

I believe Grant wrote in one of his book about how looking at longevity of a number of people can be a good binary (yes or no) way to gauge if something is working since death is the definite end to life. Death very rarely exist on a spectrum, either you are alive or your are not.

I thought it might be interesting to do a life or death poll for those that have read at least some of Grant Genereux's work and get a binary answer to a purposely diffuse question:

Have Grant Genereux saved your life?

For me, I was reaching the end (or so I felt) of what I could take regarding my "chronic vomiting syndrome" and headaches.    This had gone on since age 12 and I was nearing the end of my fifties!      It was beginning to take a toll on my psyche (as chronic pain will).    But if you do the math, for me at least,  Vitamin A overload is a slow death!     I have probably been vitamin A overloaded for 44 years.   My body was fighting, with everything it had to get rid of vitamin A, thus the "everything must go" nights about once per month.

I hate that I told people to hammer down the vitamin A when I was a WAPF'er.    That is why I'm so active here.

I think vitamin A is a fact of life here on planet Earth, we are designed to handle it for "a lifetime".   We are made to be relatively healthy despite it.   We sure don't need to ever supplement it.   There are probably deficiencies that co-incide with VA-overload that reinforce it.   If vitamin A overload doesn't actually shorten your life, you might have times when you wish that it would!    (dark humor there)   Chronic pain is no fun at all.

I was desperate when Grant's idea came along.   I already knew there was SOMETHING about WAPF lifestyle that made me worse.   I had already stopped the cod liver oil (during the fermented-cod-liver-oil debacle at WAPF).

I saw Grant mentioned on another site, and I also thank that anonymous person, whoever it was.

Grant's idea is a slow fix, and we are never sure whether bad symptoms that come along are damage, detox, retox or something else entirely.    I can totally see why this has been a hard puzzle to solve.

With my stupid high intake of vit A foods and supplements with vit A as well I have to say yes. I was lucky that at that time I was visiting Matt Stone page and he had blog post about it with dr.Smith. At first I didn't even open that blog post. But fortunately after couple of months I did. I really think that if I continued with that high vit A intake I would be dead by now.. It is like what 6+ almost 7 years that I am on low vit A diet now? Now I know that my issues were not just chronic vit A toxicity, but it was a big one for sure. I think that not many people here were stupid like I was with that kind of vit A intake. I am talking full fat dairy, whole eggs, liver, cod liver oil, retinol palmitate capsules, juicing carrots, eating 5kg of watermelon as a snack easily etc.. For years and years..

Unfortunately for other people who are poisoning themselves. Most of them will never find out because it is hard to find it and even if they did and saw Grant and especially crazy Dr.Smith talking how it is not vitamin etc. they would just laugh at it and move on.. But if they saw at first look only info how easily and why can "vit" A accumulate in the body and cause all those issues without that over the top crazy Smith rant. They would be much more willing to really look into it.. In my case I knew that Matt Stone is really smart guy. So I took it seriously from the beginning.. Also Smith was not so crazy back in the day like he is now..
