Quick Question: Antibodies
Quote from Mattia on June 5, 2020, 8:55 amThere are many people that find remission by implementing helminth therapy. Basically synbiotic parasites that modulate the immune response. The idea is very interesting, I was about to order a dose but I had to take herbal antibiotics for a while. I would reconsider helminth therapy in the future.

Dont quote me on this, but pretty sure probiotic interventions have been largely ineffective. There are billions of different bacteria in the gut and we now know there are now viruses that make up the gut. If probiotics work or ease symptoms go for it, as far as a cure, I do not think we are there yet

Thanks for the reply! Interesting to learn that about viruses in the gut. Yeah, probiotics never did much for me, heh. Sounds like there are still too many unknowns there at this point.

Quote from lil chick on February 1, 2023, 7:44 amBecause I had what appears to be an allergic reaction this week, I'm on this thread wondering just "what the heck IS an allergy?".
I like how on this list we go back and ask ourselves "what is gout" or whatever.
What starts allergy? What makes them fade?
