Raw Dairy

I've been reading through all the posts and noticed that there have been a few queries about raw dairy.  I thought I would share my experience in case it is helpful to anyone.
I have experimented with dairy quite a lot over the last decade or so both taking it out and adding it back into my diet.  It didn't seem to make any difference to me.  Over the last 4 -5 years in particular my gut has become increasingly sensitive and my list of safe foods has diminished.
After 18 months or so dairy free I reintroduced raw dairy during the summer of 2017.  I found that although I didn't tolerate pasteurised milk, I was fine with raw.  Apart from butter where pasteurised was ok, all cheese, milk and cream I ate was raw.  For the most part I was consuming roughly 3/4 litre whole milk, 30 - 40 g cheese, 3 or so tbsp. double cream and 20g + butter daily.
Although in retrospect I can see other symptoms had got worse over the last couple of months or so, the thing that really got my attention was a week of extreme nausea which only got worse and fatigue to the point I could barely move (I have pretty severe CFS anyway so any increase basically floors me).

The first thing I did was have an all dairy meal for breakfast (milk and cream) which produced such a strong nausea that I was sick.  I felt better within 30 mins of vomiting.  The next thing I did was eliminate dairy.  I was still constantly nauseous but this gradually diminished over about a week.  The fatigue also lifted to my normal level.  During the week as I read more I phased out carrot and squash and adopted a low VA diet.  However I was already responding positively to the removal of dairy.
Other symptoms I had that had increased over a slightly longer period that particularly stand out was my already dry eyes were now really gritty feeling.  Periodic headaches were now constant.  Both these have already improved.  My eyes now feel dry but rarely gritty.  My headaches have mostly gone.  My gut pain which has been a constant companion for a while seems to be improving.

I'm not sure of the dates exactly but this happened toward the end of Feb.  I reckon I've been low VA for about 2 weeks.

My YouTube feed just handed me a bunch of videos about how raw milk is dangerous.   I'm a raw milk lover from way back, but I don't HAVE to drink raw milk.   I digest pasteurized fine.    I like that the raw milk I buy isn't tampered with at all, that the cow lives a nice life, that it is local, that it tastes great.    I suppose I could buy it and heat it.

Most everything I believe has been stood on it's head over the last 6 years, and so I have to wonder:   are some of the WAPFer problems... because of raw milk germs?    (I'm not talking about the vitamin A or the lactose or casein here, but the germs)

I like raw milk and have been drinking it a long time.   But I do have an open mind and wonder yet again, if another health-thought of mine could be wrong.    I have a close friend who grew up in Nepal and he told me (about ten years ago) they heat milk.   (which I think is typically "buffalo milk").   That surprised me.     But maybe it shouldn't.  Have you ever seen what butter goes through to become ghee?     It is ultra-cooked.

I've often thought of my raw milk as being a type of probiotic food, and even my thoughts about probiotics have changed to where I don't trust those either!
