Red meat raises arachadonic acid levels more than vegetable oils

Our results suggest that dietary intake of pre-formed long-chain fatty acids from fish (for EPA and DHA) and red meat (for AA) are key determinants of plasma concentrations of these fatty acids. Furthermore, we did not observe effect modification by sex, age or overweight status in the association between fish consumption and EPA and DHA concentrations, or that of red meat intake and AA concentrations, with the different strata showing similar effect estimates. The consistent lack of association between PUFA or n-6 PUFA intake and circulating AA concentrations across different strata also adds strength to our conclusions.

Quote from Даниил on September 6, 2021, 7:17 amArachidonic acid is needed for the synthesis of " inflammatory" 0prostaglandins, and red meat has a lot of" inflammatory " amino acids, as Ray says. So this is logical. But if you don't eat arachidonic and linoleic acid, it will have nowhere to come from. It will be difficult to explain my chain of thoughts, but personally I don't think there is any need to be afraid of red meat. (except that large amount of iron). In any case, it is much better than poultry, imho.

I don't believe in scientific literature anymore , studies are flawed and data is often incorrect . Most of the time papers are published by researchers just for the sake of publishing , e.g getting their recognition or obtaining PHD . Didn't the "scientific fact" of RDA of vitamin A 10000 IU / Day also came from the same scientific community that publishes papers .
I have done trail and analysis of all diets , vegan , carnivore ,poultry , etc . red meat is the safest I can say and does no harm . I have been eating red meat since past 3 years , the only issues I got was with poultry and eggs ( I would not recommend eating that daily )
The best way to consume red meat is using the shock principle . Eat red meat on a stretch for months and months , then for a 3-4 weeks only eat black beans and potatoes with rice .This way our body adapts well . I have no scientific reason for this , but this is from my personal experience
