I needed to disable self sign-ups because I’ve been getting too many spam-type accounts. Thanks.
Quote from Janelle525 on October 19, 2025, 5:02 amI haven't been sick at all in 2 yrs, sometimes I might feel like symptoms will come on but they never do. I do beans or psyllium husk everyday. I think they are a gentle detox. Also it's important to keep warm, colds and flus definitely proliferate in winter months, when we subject our body to extreme temperature and humidity changes. I do think vitamin A can cause bad 'viral infections'. I don't believe in viruses as the cause which are just dead proteins.

Quote from Joseph on October 19, 2025, 10:09 amI appreciate you doing this. It is easy to begin to doubt oneself after many months have passed. I think it's due partially to hitting a plateau, where progress after is so slow and steady as to be almost imperceptible. I'm contemplating reintroducing some junk in to my diet after 6 months of nothing but beef beans and rice, but it will still be zero vitamin a. Will report on my progress thread how that goes..

Quote from grapes on October 20, 2025, 1:10 amSame here. I think I've been flu free for a few years on low A diet and am now down with a flu.
On a trip I got addicted to an instant coffee with milk, which seems to be the culprit. I've also been experimenting lately with cheeses following calcium hypothesis. One can argue though that it's something else in coffee/milk powder, not A..

Quote from lil chick on October 20, 2025, 6:58 amI have found that loads of things can bring on a "flu" type illness, for example, trying to visit a hotel room with all of its inherent toxicities. Strange how no one ever catches these flues from me. However, also strange that husband suffers much less. The model in my mind is that my body decides it has been poisoned much easier than my husband's. I suppose it is also possible that he is constantly exposed to such things, since he is still in the workplace, and I sit at home.
