Hello LYL community,
We are currently in the beginning of making a documentary about the evolution of Dr. Smith, Nutrition Detective, and the Love Your Liver approach.
We are looking for community members who would potentially be interested and or willing to participate in being filmed for our upcoming documentary. We will be opening up many ways for the community to contribute and be a part of it
At this time we are looking for members would would be interested in sharing their stories and being filmed for the upcoming film on camera
We want to spread this message to the many who still have no idea how they can benefit from our work and this film would also be created to share a dramatic narrative of the discovery of toxic bile paradigm and is intended to be an easy-to-watch entertaining entry point for anyone in your circle that you might want to share the message with

Beware the never ending stream of grifters in the alternative health space.
This video talks about how up to 33 people might have drowned from combining Wim Hof's idea of hyperventilating with his idea of ice bathing. (ie, unfortunately they pass out and drown) It is said that W.H. doesn't recommend combining the techniques, however, W.H. does do it and there are plenty of videos showing him doing it, and him doing it with his co-horts.
The reporter here talks about how even though he realizes that Wim Hof isn't perfect, he still believes in the power of breath and the power of ice bathing, but that 1. they should never be combined. 2. that W.H. might have some very serious personal issues and has risen to an unhealthy state of guru-ism. And that, in the pursuit of money, he has been elevated to guru, and that people should be aware that the guy's a loose cannon.
I thought one of the comments was so interesting: "A man with a death wish submits his body to extreme punishment. In the process he discovers things that fascinate others and that in some circumstances may even be helpful. The admiration of others gives him a new sense of identity and purpose, but the deepest underlying problems inside of him remain."
The video maker talks about how a grifter may arrive with 90% new, true and helpful ideas... that lure people in... while the another 10% of his ideas might be not good or down-right dangerous. I think that is quite common, that there is some aspect of new or forgotten truth to a grifter's ideas... that hook people in. No one is perfect and they are going to have some things wrong. And as this person gains followers, as another person points out: power corrupts.
Don't be in search of a guru!
The same video maker thinks that Jordan Peterson might have been treated with experimental stem cell therapy, and that is why he ended up with sepsis. He points to another online personality, who saw the same stem cell doc, and got sepsis too.
