Quote from Joe2 on March 9, 2026, 11:52 amNoteworthy toxicity symptom: pervasive intrusive sexual thoughts. Thinking about sex so much and so often that normal functional thoughts are precluded. Think way worse than the average 14 year old high school boy. Wonder if that has anything to do with 14 year old boys using selenium filled shampoo like Selsun Blue or Head and Shoulders with selenium.

Quote from Jiří on March 9, 2026, 12:41 pmBeen taking selenium for at least decade 100-200mcg daily on top of what is in the diet while I had amalgams. First hair test high mercury levels, pretty low selenium. Amalgams safely removed and kept taking 200-300mcg as it was recommended by ARl protocol. Another hair test year later selenium went little up when there was no longer mercury exposure from amalgams, but was far from in ideal range with selenium even with intake around 450-500mcg supps + food... Stopped doing hair testing(big mistake). Was still taking selenium, but just around 100 sometimes 200mcg a day + what is in the diet and after 8 years another hair test and selenium is at aexactly the same level as it was 8 years ago.. Still not ideal levels..
Moral of the story if you are toxic especially in mercury which is direct antagonist to selenium. YOu are probably selenium deficient even if you take it in supplement form...
I don't like most of the stuff Dr.Smith says, but here I have to use his quote "test don't guess.."
Btw the guy "Gbolduev" who was active on hackstasis forum helping people figure out PFS etc. was taking I think 3000mcg to deal with his cancers which he was able to fix...
I wouldn't worry so much about selenium toxicity, but you need to understand that if you take high doses it can antagonize other trace minerals...
But 100-200mcg is nothing to worry about. Like I said in most cases you will be still bellow ideal saturation levels with all the toxin exposures we have today..
