Solution for energy and fungus ?
Quote from Alex on August 24, 2019, 5:05 amHello everyone,
I wonder about how to eat to have great energy. I tried almost all diets (paleo, carnivore, frugivore, ...) without success.
I am currently trying feeding based on the advice of Ray Peat.
I have read some testimonials of experience with Grant's positive vitamin A. I was wondering if it could solve problems of baldness, fungal infections on the toes and crotch, odor and yellow perspiration, eyes with red lines in the whites of the eyes, ...
I read that some had had results on the hair but after I did not read more.
Is there a Facebook group on the community following the low vitamin A diet?

Quote from romaine on September 15, 2019, 5:29 amI am not sure what you are looking for. Many people here have been doing what Grant has done and have had success. That is the solution. For some it happens fast for others it takes along time. Many that did/are doing the low A diet had/have fatigue. That is a common issue that has gotten better for many. I'm not sure about fungal problems. I seem to remember people getting rid of white tongues which would indcate they got rid of their candida overgrowth.
Some people feel that going as extreme in their diet as Grant did, is best for them, while others are not as restrictive. Some believe that Grant's diet also elliminates other problematic plant compounds such as oxalates and in addition to the low vA content, that has helped them.
A new facebook group was started a few days ago by someone here but I have not checked it out yet.

Quote from Jenny on September 15, 2019, 11:18 amHi Alex, your symptoms definitely sound like vitamin A toxicity to me. I believe the Ray Peat diet is very high vitamin A & has caused others problems. I personally follow Dr Garrett Smith’s diet. He’s at nutritionrestored.com & his information costs just under 40 dollars. I couldn’t personally do Grant’s diet as it’s so restrictive (respect to those that can be so strict). I’m in this for the long haul & have done a year on a low ish VA diet with many of my health symptoms resolving but with other symptoms coming & going with the detox cycles. This is not an easy or quick fix but after being involved in this for nearly a year I think it is 100% worth doing.

It interests me to know what to eat to try. I'm waiting for your list with pleasure.
