Sun exposure in detoxing vitamin a and Suntan salons

Two questions.

I'd like to read more about the science between sun exposure and detoxing vitamin a.

Also is it recommended to use suntan salons to help in detoxing vitamin a and other benefits?

Please provide any links blogs or websites about the connection to sun exposure and detoxing vitamin a.

I have been doing sunbaths and I think that they stir things up--probably in a good way.  It might be a little much at the beginning for people who are detoxing hard.  I had to give it a break for while.

I go outside at noon, in summer, in New England, and roast about 1 minute per side (4 sides) and then sit for 1 minute, looking around at my garden.  5 minutes and I'm done, as I'm melanin challenged.

I think that being outside in strong sunlight is also going to help the eyes, (not just the skin).  Your eyes don't get any sunlight at salons (and they shouldn't).  Obviously you never want to look right at the sun or any tanning machine (just to be very clear)

Sometimes after sunlight, I see that the vascularity in my eyes gets a bit redder.  Then, the next day, the eyes look better.

There are  light boxes that people use to combat SAD and I wonder if those might be helpful and somewhat less destructive than tanning machines.  I don't know.  But people do feel better mood-wise with them.

There are also products that you can do home tanning, I think Mercola sold them.

Personally, I don't intend to do any tanning past September, unless, for instance, husband says I'm acting SAD.

Make hay while the sun shines, as they say.

Red light might help too, it'll be safe than too much UV, though probably sunlight is better than either.

I find that I feel my best under the sun for about a day or so, then detox symptoms roll back up
