Survey 2.0 (Important)

PreviousPage 2 of 2

The title of this thread is misleading clickbait, I thought it was an important update to do with Grant's survey.

Yes this is dumb. Labelling it 2.0 implies it's a follow up of Grant's survey. Your questions allude to already known correlations (ocean etc) and encroach on pseduo science (chem trails) with no stated logic. No survey web tool adds to the fact you are either 12 years old or just trying to derail the real survey.

Hello everybody,

First of all, English is not my main language. We can try to speak in French or Serbo-Croatian or German and see whether there is no misunderstanding. It was
not meant to be what you say at all and absolutely not against Grant. Maybe I don't use the correct words but that is just a detail so hope you get the thing. It was not meant to be understood as you understand it keero&tim. I don't understand your reaction; we are here to help each other not only find the true cause, but find the best way to deal with it. The way to do it is not important; what is important are the methodology and results. Your reactions are counterproductive and I honestly don't understand them. If you don't care about it or find it low quality, why not simply ignore it? Anyway, the idea behind the questionnaire was the following: The lady went to Ile de la Réunion and did many things at the same time. It works. It works really well, but in order to clear as much "noise" (in mathematical sense) as possible, I wished that as many people as possible answer this. For example, she lived for 3 months on a active volcano, which means there are minerals in the soil which are not the same as those we find in Switzerland for example. She had lots of sun everyday. She ate in a very specific way. She avoided vitamin A before but there it worked very well. This is just one example. By asking the various questions, the only "goal" was to delete as much useless variables as possible in order to let only those who have very strong corelation and thus pinpoint what "really" works. This is possible using some statistical/econometrics models but it requires at least 100 answers. This is why I have put the title, in order to attract people so I can have sufficient data in order to run the models.

The idea was not going against the existing Grant's questionnaire, actually I saw he made a questionnaire and put the 2.0 as fun
and nothing else. The idea is to get as much data and information possible in order to pinpoint the true things that work.
If Grant has some statistically significant results and then this questionnaire has also and matches with some of Grant's results,
then it is actually a good sign that the thing works (or doesn't work).

I will detail everything as much as possible but first I want as much questionnaire filled as possible because I dont want
that what I write about the lady interferes with the answers. That's the only reason. You say "we know ocean helps" ==> how do you know? we have actually no clue that's why we need to get very strong corelations. Maybe it is the glyphosate, mabye not. Maybe ocean helps, maybe not. Maybe volcanic soils help, maybe not. etc. That's why I did this questionaire, in order to clear away all "possible" but not strong corelations and to get the minimal number of variables which do work in order to focus only on that. Chemtrails are pseudoscience? Maybe. Maybe not. We don't know.
"Science" changes always so what we think we know can be wrong and vice-versa. That's why we ask questions and try to understand all the time. I think having "binomial" relationships can clear many misconceptions and pave the way for better health for some who may be struggling. Basically, the theory is that it is the kydney, especially through its conversion of vit D to the active form and its hormone eryhtropoietin that acts to make better blood and more oxygenated, which in turn oxygenates the tissues and detoxifies the body. I have quite solide experimental evidence that oxygenating the body through breathing and other lifestyle and diet changes which relieve the kidney works. The women basically did various diet adjustments and lifestyle changes in order to increase the oxygenation in the body and balance pH and relieve the kidney and apparently it works very well but she did so many things at the same time that it would not be possible for everyone to do all the things at the same, that's why I wanted to do the questionnaire in order to exclude whatever seems irrelevant and keep only the elements which have a very strong corelation; in order to come with a solution that is easily implemented in daily living for maximum number of people.
In short (I will detail and give the "Science" later), balancing pH through foods and lifestyle and relieving the kidney gets
rid of the "A" much more rapidly and improved health much more rapidly.
I will also put the details about the theory once I finish the period of the questionnaire but first I want to backtest some of the ideas
(for example concerning salt, alkalinity, etc.) through the questionnaire. I don't want to be too clear so the answers are as "honest" as possible.
For example, if we see a very strong negative correlation between coffee and symptoms resolution, then it may be good to remove the coffee, for whatever reason it doesn't work and no matter what we believe. If there is no corelation, then at least we can exclude it and concentrate on other things more important. Same for any other variable. Now, having people like you and other react agressively makes me really wonder about your goals here. And if you have better statistical models or questionnaire or methods, why not putting them in place instead of giving critics?
Why not getting into the idea of having multiple questionnaire and collaborating instead of fighting and looking who is right or wrong?
Why not simply accepting there are different ways of doing it instead of comparing and trying to reduce anything which doesn't match with your view? Also, if Grant feels this doesn't have its place on the forums, he can delete the topic. In summary, my goal basically was to help people, having no health problem myself. I absolutely don't seek confrontations. If you do, fine, but once again I don't understand your goal. If this helps anyone getting better, that's good. If you don't believe in it or don't want to participate, good as well; but why to attack it or compare it to Grant's? Maybe we will require 10 questionnaires in order to get the pinpointing, so what's the problem? My idea of this forum was a collaboration between all the people in order to help each other find what works and what doesn't, and that's it. By the way for the moment I have a total of 22 answers which are all positive (100% of "yesses" to the first question). There is none who says that he/she has not improved symptoms, which is strange following Grant's questionnaire results. I will come back the 30th of october to check the post and will publish the results as soon as possible if possible (if enough data). If I don't have enough data or you find all this ridiculous, fine as well.
Anyway I am tired with all the aggressions coming from people like you (not only on this forum but on any forum which exists, as people defend ideas like churches and are ready
to burn people for whatever reason instead of trying to keep an open mind and help each other find the way), so I will do the calculations if possible then ask Grant
to delete my profile and will not post anything anymore. I will share with him the details by e-mail and if he judges the idea interesting he can make a post, if not he can delete
all the thing and wait for another solution. Sharing ideas is one thing, participating or not in a survey is one thing, but there is no need of systematic agressivity like this one.
Your energy should be spent on other topics as will as mine and I will apply this philosophy right now.
Wish you sincerely good health. Good luck to all. Dino

PS: I will not post anymore except the results if I have enough data and the theory with pubmed links and the detailed story of the lady around november.

I sincerely thank all the people who already submitted the questionnaires and those who will do it.

Thanks for the write up @dino, if you catch this; was the lady living at a higher altitude or near sea level?

Makes sense about sea and volcano, sounds like soil/zeolite and sea/mineral uptake might be optimal with these living conditions.

So many theories, and it's so early.   I suppose each conversation here on this forum has a few theories going in there.  Theories fall into several zones (here are some I can think of)

1:  "Is vit-A toxicity a real thing?" since some nutritionists (many?) would liken the whole idea of rampant vit-A toxicity to "flat earth theory" at this point.

2:  "How do you know you've got vit-A toxicity?"

3: "Why do certain people seem to have severe Vit-A toxicity diseases?"

4:  "How do we quickly fix Vit-A toxicity?"

I think I will start a thread and see if people want to put forward their best answers to these questions in one place.

Hi Dino,

I am fully supporting your work here and don’t think it confronts Grant’s theory in any way (and of course, even if it does nothing wrong with that, at least for me). On the contrary, I find it a kind of complementary to Grant’s work, thank you both for that.

Here are my answers, sorry but I couldn’t resist to put some comments 🙂

I'm curious about this too  because I feel like the factors in questions affect my health and well-being, wether it's related to A or no.
